Conspiracies The Covid Narrative

Why not both?
Because that makes no sense. You're either doing what's best for the people (curing pandemic) or what's not in their best interests (implementing a totalitarian control system). There's a disconnect there.

Are people arguing about whether it's a pandemic? A pandemic is when a disease has spread across the entire globe and is not contained to any particular area. I didn't know anyone was debating whether that has happened.
Yes after the 2009 swine flu outbreak the global health authorities changed the definition of "pandemic". It used to be mean that there was a novel virus spreading across borders that was resulting in mass amounts of death. They removed the part about mass death and now they can call it a pandemic simply if it's a novel virus that's spreading. We all have short memories but early-2020 we all thought this could be a Spanish Flu-type pandemic with people dropping dead all over the place. That didn't eventuate and the survival rate for this virus is something like 99.7%.

Just like they recently changed definition of "anti vaxxer" for political reasons. If you take every vaccine in the world yourself but you think that people should have the choice whether to be vaccinated then according to the (newly updated) Merriam-Webster dictionary, you are an anti-vaxxer

What I meant by what I wrote is, why can't it be that various world leaders, government/health officials are taking away people's rights, using the COVID pandemic and curing COVID as an excuse to do this?

I am not claiming that COVID does not exist, or that the vaccines kill people, etc.

Plus, on movies now, interesting theme in the new James Bond movie I literally knew and heard nothing of until yesterday, content wise-

Nanobot technology A.I. weaponry system unleashed on humanity which behaves like a virus.

I never got any such notion even slightly from there myself, or any where in particular really.

I arrived via a long back door route at that hypothesis.

There is more truth (in plain sight) in movies than the majority are informed, aware and simply intelligent enough to recognise.

I expect this to happen:

In a few years you will need covid pass of sorts to even enter a shop. And they are going to start monthly shots too.
ADE and other side effects essentially compromise your immune system to the point where you are dependent on boosters. It will be subscription health, and the people that remain pure blood will be ostracized to an extreme level.

The biggest red pill is seeing who isn’t required to get the vaccines. Congress, the pharma companies, banking institutions, etc etc

yeah... i cannot "see" whats on the horizon but something is there i see it moving in my scope.
gotta do some brush up on some history will return with back with a half baked response.

BTW: Has anyone gotten their vax pass (digitally through phone or other device)?
I got mine quick but they draggin on SOs and wondering if it has anything to do with my whiteness (racially selective)?

That's the second time I have seen the term pure blood used in the last few hours in different places.

When I was taking a lot of acid back in the day I saw Jurassic Park for the first time and it totally opened my eyes to the world around me. I started seeing them everywhere: velociraptors hiding behind the trees.

I believe you. But my point is much more fact and reality based, for one example again Neo's passport in 1999 dated 9/11.

My belief system doesn't necessarily have to be the result of LSD. Necessarily.

With Neo, it's just a co-incidence. There are 365 days in the year. Many of those days hold historical significance. How many fictional characters are there? Some of them are bound to have birthdays on September 11th or the 4th of July or a bunch of other historically significant days... but, let's assume it's not a co-incidence.

I've never heard anyone explain the significance of his passport? It says 9/11. So what? What does that mean? Even if it's an intentional nod to the disaster in New York, what does that have to with the price of fish?

The raptors started to disappear when I stopped taking acid. I'm afraid of LSD now. I know they are waiting for me.

I'm sorry you are afraid of LSD. I'm not. I should be. I can't be courteous to respond here now, it's a deep old topic to me, we would go on for some while and I'm in quite a condition this week and evening.

But as a spoiler, I do not think Bin Laden coincidentally chose that date.

Typos corrected.

you think he saw the matrix and that's what helped him make up his mind? but, seriously, what do you believe is the significance of 9/11?

i tend to agree with you @birdup

there have been some pretty good discussions in p&s on the subject of synchronicity, coincidence, etc. including:
there are some pretty clear examples of confirmation bias in those discussions, particularly the last one.

It's a joke that this bearded mastermind netflixed Matrix one night in his cave via famous laptop and decided the date that late 2000 evening for all anybody actually knows.

Ofc I don't believe such a decision was made.

The date is very very significant to my mind. It is not an isolated thing at all. Just a best example in some ways.
