IDK if hes a blu lighter, he probably has an old account, or luker, but one of my best friends whose 27, delta hit him on the 11th. Has to his tough hard man anti vaxxer republican( am i te only republican who believes in vaccines, ugh anyways. I'm in Florida, and ya know the government's data lags about 4 -5 weeks... Delta, is atm around 15% chance of critical ARDS in younger populations. This number will change, and I don't mean 15% more then 0.01%, around 10-15 % of unvaxxed youngins, are begging for the vax as their being put on the flip of a coin ventilator.. Luke , I I am so broken, he's my last life long friend.

NEW INFO BTW well CDC will be a month behind and then say it as they always do. Floridas a great and tragic data set atm, if you got covid 19 original alpha or varients similar to the original, your immunity to delta, does not last on,g or should i say resistance. All the non vaxxed here are catching covid delta, so 2nd time with covid... I really was pro vaccine, i believe in them i do my research, but I never took the pandemic extremely seriously, and I know it affected some gravely, loss of jobs income etc. I was ignorant, and my eyes are open.

Please send prayers to my brother( friend=family to me) . Clinical presentation. Sore throat august 9th, headache 10th continued sore throat, cough developed at night. Delta doesn't cause fever loss of smell , shortness of breath early. Delta is sore throat, headache, runny nose, bodyaches, cough **cough is unvaxxed**(if your vaxxed and have a breakthrough stay home, Delta causes insane sneezing fitss I had a breakthrough was a minor annoyance )

Prelim anecdotal data suggests due to the U.S having over 90% of the highest age groups, and elderly vaccinated, two new delta sub types have been identified. Virus'es arejust doing what everything does survival of the fittest or who can adapt... Also Delta your likely to have a perfectly healthy 02 sat, because it causes the aveoli instead to keep bringing in oxygen, but they aren't exchanging out the co2..

Alot of info here, it's all from localized sourced data around the U.S , but Florida has 93% of our 10million over 55 or 60 vaxxed, yet our ICUS are full, of young folks my age..

My sister got the first and second vaccination but yesterday she tested positive for covid. Shes really sick but I am assuming she might be a lot worse if she hadnt had the vacinne.

Ive been on the fence about being vaccinated. I have MCTD which is an auto immune disease and other issues. It has affected my hemoglobin. The vacinne carries several risks for me. But from what my rheumatologist has told me...covid would probably be devastating to my system. Ive been around my sister every day up until yesterday when the test came back positive. Idk what's gonna happen now. I am a little scared
 
Old thread, I haven't slept in day's because of my previous post, forgive the grammar, but the U.S is in tough straights for the young unvaxxed, and I don't want to lose my friend, I lost 4 since April 2019, I cant do it again , my emotions are more sensitive then men love to admit, I feel way to much for a straight guy, i wish i could just be stoic, but gonna try to sleep, at 6 hours in 5 days, praying tomorrow he's still here , my heart out, anyone who see's this please pray or do whatever you do spirtuatlly I am so tired and stressed forgive grammar and spelling and everything goodnight :(

If your in the U.S and your not vaxxed you will get delta, not a matter of when but if. It is one of the most infectious strains of any virus we've ever seen. Weigh the risks for you, It's a tough choice. My dads an MD, so I know that the vax could really mess you up. the risks, Luke was not immuno compromised but co morbitiy liver acities. 90% of our cases are delta here. My cousin caugh delta, had covid 5 months ago lol, not vaxxed, its crazy how delta just is so infectious it mutated to avoid natural immunity from a recent infection of another strain... its just such a incredible virus scientifically, but god I am just typing so i don't have to sleep,haven't been active due to Florida being a mess, and I am trying to to implode. sorry, I will reply tomorrow, I have stayed sober somehow in this , 3 years overall and luke will be so proud when not if he wakes up D':

Good to know. Ty. I am pretty sure that Ive already been exposed. Would the vacinne help me any if I have?

yes just as long as it wasn't recent , you'd actually have stronger immunity than just someone whose had the vax series, same the other way, breakthrough case after vax series has higher t cell memory and antibody counts. but really I am like an RN's worth of knowledge and in a state of breakdown. and I cant remember the exact nature of your auto immune issue, I will read it tomorrow. Realistically weigh the risks with your doctor, if your dog thinks you can safely get it, please do, you don't wanna walk in a Florida ICU right now seeing 20-30 year olds screaming for the vaccine begging for it like it'll save them at that point efore being put on the ventilator machines.. Christ I got to walk up to outside the ICU with him, and it was all young guys 20s 30s, I just said it yes, but I actually saw it in person.. I have a PCT license, and a couple other medical certs before becoming an accountant, and I wanted to say goodbye to him, I didn't want luke to be alone. In case it really was the last goodbye. I wish I did,t Trinity hospital should of said no to me coming up, but when your dads a doctor, you get away with protocol hell.. It's not like its 50% who get critical young, but its gonna be 5 -15% officially as the data sets analyzed the next two months. POINT IS the young aren't invincible anymore. I didn't come here to preach the vax i just need prayers for him, that's all I'm asking. Bluelight has saved my life countless time's. and I turns here when I have to.

Also sending good thoughts to you, that you won't get it. It's a pretty scary time to be immunocompromised...
