Conspiracies The Covid Narrative

Never heard that one, but "gotten" is in the dictionary, bruh. It's the past participle of "get". What do you guys use for the past participle of "get"? Do you just not have one?

Oh see that sounds to me like something someone would say if they didn't understand how to conjugate verbs. Not what I learned in school, lol

Although colloquially we would say "I've got $10 in my bank account" but that's equivalent to using present tense "I have $10 in my bank account"

It's different to say something like in the thread title though, it's present tense of describing something in the past.

@F.U.B.A.R. i just googled 'gotten'- it claims to genuinely be the north american past participle of get. i can't believe it. first they make up how to spell things and get it wrong and now they are bastardising our grammar!

feeling better from the muscle cramps i got yesterday after gottening (if this isn't north american right now i feel its the logical conclusion of what happens next if we continue to allow you guys to run riot with our beautiful language) some sleep.

Man, I did gotten hammered last night.

Is that correct? 😀

Anyway, back on topic. I still have been totally overlooked by the system. No vaccine gotten yet...

OK now you're just being lazy mate lol. Even some of the ickle little local chemists are offering Covid jabs, bombarding us with texts even when we've already had both shots. Just pop into one of them and book a slot if you can't be arsed to contact your GP.

Or else follow this link to make your booking:

You are bang on mate. I said in another thread ages ago that I'd probably be too lazy to bother.

Just proving myself right...

so would i. i was taking the piss out of VAERS (which literally has car crashes on it ffs but is taken as gospel truth by anti vaxxers)

i'm actually experiencing quite severe muscle pain now which is a common side effect but 0 regrets in getting the vaccine- a day or two of soreness is better than risking ending up on a ventilator or passing covid to someone vulnerable.

Oh you think so huh? if by the chance you get covid, and by chance you end up on a ventilator, you think you're better off now? well that's nice to hear =D

and im really glad to hear you're feeling better

so which shot did you get?

the data suggest that were i to contract covid now i'd get a lot less sick. so if i end up on a ventilator i'll be glad i'm not dead (that's actually progress for me lol).

I've had my first vaccination. The second one of coming up in July, although I'm part of the group that is having their second vaccination expedited so it's possibly in June now.

There's a one-shot option?? I have never heard of that.
