I'm new here and I've read some of the replies and I was totally against getting the vaccine and wish I never had. I was going to look for a job and heard employers were not going to hire anyone unless they had the vaccine. I got j&j 1 shot in June and have been sick on an off and still today.
I had started 2 days after the vaccine started with shortness of breath, stomach pain and easily exhausted. Today I still have shortness of breath, muscle cramps, anxiety and tingling in the hands and feet. 2 days ago was told I had kidney stones the only problems before this vaccine was gastritis, started Suboxone and coming off gabapentin because I take Suboxone now! I'm 51 and wish I didn't get the vaccine. If you have underlying issues stay away from vaccines until you hear better News

Yes - maybe - but only because of the lockdowns and we can't keep locking down forever.

I got half of the moderna (as did SO). We are sposed to get the other half on the 30th I think (have to look at the card).

No, but as long as there is a large enough community not vaxxed and transmitting, our current vaccination will quickly be rendered useless. The study out of Cape Cod a couple weeks ago indicates this is already happening. This is why the idea of "its a personal" choice, is bullshit. Cases and hospitalizations are now the highest they have been throughout this whole thing except for the Trump/GOP passive eugenics intentional Q4 spike last year.

But the way “mom” is used, the formality of the context, almost taken as a different conjugation, makes it more peculiar and unnatural feeling to say “mom and I.”

While “mum and I” is understood as meaning exactly “my mum and I”, but I still say My unless I can justify the shorthand in whatever moment.

If you don't get vaccinated, you are a virus sink, acting as a Petri dish inevitably leading to the complete uselessness of current vaccines. So yes, your decision not to get vaccinated does have a direct effect on the people that do, you are annulling their vaccine. But liberty, amirite?

The person who gave the account of their friend passing because they couldn't get into a homeless shelter, my heart bleeds for you and I am sorry about this, but it is equally valid that your friend died because of the extreme income inequality and extreme poverty that exists in this country as a direct result of extreme right wing libertarian anarcho-capitalist doctrine becoming the doctrinal norm in American economic thought today, as it is that social distancing caused this. Indeed, without the epidemic of individualism that is infecting america currently, we likely wouldn't have needed to have in place measures to combat the virus as long as we have, nor would we have the extreme levels of developing world poverty side by side with the richest enclaves in the world. Economic libertarianism a la Ayn Rand has rotted this country from the inside out.

We never locked down in the US in any meaningful way to be fair. But I think you are talking about Australia. In the us we had a patchwork of local rules that were never in sync. The idea we ever had something like a lockdown in the US to mitigate against the virus is a delusion If we had gone full lockdown last February/March, when the virus was limited to big international arrival cities, SF, NY, LA, etc, and put in place a robust tracing regime, we could have avoided all of this. Doesn't take a genius to figure it out. Just takes someone other than an administration that openly discusses eugenics and then hosts rallies that can be explained in no other way than an intentional desire to spread the disease. Trump regularly talked about good genes, and how this would protect people from the virus. How his supporters had good genes, so they would be fine. Openly talked about it But yes, bill gates and chem trails and the vaccine and mask mandates are what we should be worried about. Noted.
 
Its incredible to me that in a forum full of people (myself included) who are willing to pretty much ingest whatever powder, pill, liquid or whatever some rando sells them in the bathroom of a dive bar, there are people who are anti-vax/have issues with taking the covid vaccine. Shit I got that as soon as I could, would have been in the testing group if I could. Meanwhile we've got folks here like, fuck that vaccine, but bring on the krokodile, bang me with another spike of that shit.
 
I have noticed how dis/misinformation is spread here. Not calling anyone out in particular it is dotted everywhere.
A link is posted. The poster points to the link and indicates that the site is proof of what they say is going on. If anyone bothers to read the provided post, one would clearly see that the data has been "misunderstood" "misread" "i cant read anyway" type response when called out. The info cited provides different and sometimes oposite information on the posters proposed point(s).
I do not know it this is intentionally misleading but it is a very dangerous and weasly move. If I see anyone posting bullshit Imma call ya out. This is mostly a harm reduction forum and gotdammit this kinda shit (outright bullshit) doesnt cut it when it comes to drugs as it can and will potentially be the harm or death of someone. Right? Why would it be any different here in regard to other potentially harmful or deadly misinformation?
Not gonna smille, giggle and slap ass with ya if I find there is twisting of info and acting like it is backed by god and country when its a pile of shit. Its irresponsible in the least, deadly at the worse and shows that trolling is alive and well and mf looking at others lives as toys, experiments, fun or food
If ya back yer proposed "facts" with some link that has been twisted or has confused you unduly... imma fuck with ya til yer fuckin eyes bleed.

this all looks good on paper but humans are rather transient and fragile to be honest I would think that this virus will outlast us easily as we are on the verge of being eradicated. If the virus thought and planned that would be one thing... it could pace itself and adjust as needed. By the next mutation, half uf us may be gone. lol like how long do we think we can outpace the virus? We could be all gone in a couple years and the virus will have just started "mutating" for the next 100 yr rule and nothing to rule. lol

A remarkably measured response to what is ultimately a stunning display of dunning Krueger. I'm glad someone has stochastic virus mutations all figured out, someone call the CDC, MIT and Harvard. I have one word for the vaccine doubters and the ones who have virus evolution all figured out: smallpox.
