Conspiracies The Covid Narrative

Fair enough. But polio jab? Is that even a thing these days?
I dunno....it was around 20 years ago still iirc? Or was it another jab we refused...it was a while ago now like...defo said 'no' to one or two though

I'm a massive needlephobe too, my system just shuts down/becomes unconscious when needles are in the offing, even writing that then was bleeuugghh tbh...I had to get the ex to sit with kids when getting jabs etc or I'd have been unconscious on the floor!

But now i think the needlephobia is only IV or oral injections weirdly, as the covid IM was a doddle (of cousre in other ways I'm very fucking grateful for needlephobia as I would have 100% gone down that route in very unhealthy ways otherwise)

Anyway, here's an on topic quick review of my Moderna 'experience'

Jab 1 - arm a tiny bit sore on injection site, started 8 hours after shot and only lasted 3 hours or so, slightly more tired than usual next day. That's it.

Jab 2 (10 weeks later)
T+4 hours - waves of nausea for a few hours.

T+24 hours - SORE arm wow, deep bone-ache and nerve pain right down into hand, couldn't type etc and couldn't hold arm above shoulder-height at all, lasted for 36 hours or so. Also waves of deep tiredness, on and off randomly for 4 days or so

Felt fine after 4 days, then another week later (around 11 days post-jab) woke up with pretty dizzyness/vertigo which lasted on and off for two weeks, then totally fine seemingly

I'm not gonna lie - on and off during the three weeks post-jab i was having regrets about taking it, just felt "wrong" deep in the psyche, fuck knows why. I'm glad I took it now, but not at all sure that I'll be having it again if (when) boosters are needed etc, we'll see

Case in point though.

Why don't we get vaccinated against polio anymore?

Because the polio vaccine has virtually eradicated this disease.

Who'd have thought a vaccine could actually work..;).

Better sanitation is what really got rid of polio.....and then the vaccine showed up late to help finish mopping up

calling me an anti-vaxxer is no different than calling somebody a racist because you thought they said something slightly racist in your eyes

What even is an 'anti-vaxxer'?
It's just someone who doesn't want to take drugs.
Just not the same drugs we talk about on this forum.
It doesn't mean I'am anti-weed if I don't smoke weed. I'am not anti-heroin because I don't take heroin. I can see the benefits of both although I can only speak from past experience with weed and not heroin.

It makes it sound so sinister but like choosing whether to take heroin or crack or weed or cocaine or whatever, or not, at the end of the day we all go home and we do our thing.
It doesn't actually affect anyone any less or more. What does however is creating these names to call people. If I call you a smack head for taking heroin or a junkie you are likely to lose your sh*t with me and quite rightfully so. If you call me a hippie because I am partial to psychedelics I will probably grill you on how superficial and basic you must be to assume I am a hippie just because I enjoy altered states of consciousness that psychedelics provide. These are just words after all. It's the character of the person that matters and when it comes down to this stuff, the onus is always on what the strawman is doing. You can paint an elaborate picture using a strawman. That's actually how our world works and why we have birth certificates and why we are registered on systems so the government has a strawman to assume a legally binding contract with. Our strawman is not who we are. You can attack a strawman all day long. It's very easy. Just like you can attack meth heads all day long, stoners, crack heads, tweakers, you name it.

You can't attack the living being though, not without a solid argument and with solid evidence, but this part doesn't get mentioned conveniently. We never talk about the good things people do who also take drugs, how much they love and care for their family, how hard they work, what they do for their communities. When we look at someone we don't like we cannot imagine they too, just like us, are capable of being a human being, a good human being at that. So it's impossible to see beyond the baseless ad hominin attack when it's so compelling to deny the humanity of the other just so dehumanizing that person makes them inferior to you/the group. And calling someone an 'anti-vaxxer' is not solid evidence of anything other than playing the game that the 'anti-vaxxer' is the bad guy and not a real person (hence a strawman i.e not a living breathing being) which is why the game continues ad infinitum, because it's completely fictitious and like a 3 year old playing with his toys, there is no limit except for imagination and the strawman cannot defend itself... because it's not real. It's like saying 'anti-bluelight', if there was enough momentum for this to stick it would be very easy thereafter to attack everyone on this forum for being on this forum. It doesn't matter who they are because they aren't real, just objects to manipulate and in this example to disregard and de-legitimatize. After a while though, being called 'anti-bluelight' would do your nut in because you know deep down it means absolutely nothing. The narrative could be that this place is awful beyond belief and that narrative could be so strong that it is the dominant belief everyone shares with each other. So now you belong to this group of nobodies whether you like it or not. Of course, that's not true at all but with the power of peer pressure, group think and tribalism along with other techniques like triangulation it wouldn't matter because you are now the victim and you are a victim that cannot defend him/herself. Moreover, you are not even a he/she, you are an 'it' (going back to the strawman). An 'it' cannot defend itself.

There are no such things as 'anti-vaxxers' just like there are no such things as tweakers. Sure, in our culture and society we like to think they do inside of our socially agreed up realities and our shared beliefs and language. A tweaker in reality is just another living breathing human being whose only difference is so minute in that he/she takes a particular drug that society does not widely agree upon being acceptable and then society seeks to attack the strawman and then proceeds to assume the strawman IS the individual getting drunk on the momentum of social engineering. It is not. A tweaker could be your mum or dad or your next girlfriend/boyfriend. He/she is your friend. Likewise, an 'anti-vaxxer' is no different. The only difference is how arbitrary and blindsighted our thinking is and then consequently, how our prejudices, obsessions, compulsions and dysfunctional/unhealthy beliefs harm ourselves and the society we live in.

Before you know it we live in a world made up on fictions. We wake up everyday to attach ourselves and each other to stories that don't mean sh*t and fail to look beyond it all. We essentially make ourselves creatures in the process, mere animals, or worst, strawmen. We become what we attack. You take all your own power and potential away when you seek to try to do the impossible and tear apart the nature of our society and make black and white completely seperate to each other. In fact, they are on a continuum. They fall into one another, they belong to one another. Likewise and with the world we live in, you can't actually take anything away from it (like other people, things, places etc) because you just end up destroying things for everybody else including yourself. And all the while it cannot be done. Throughout our human history we have destroyed ourselves trying to do the undo-able and pretending like we can magically disappear things we don't like or want or don't want to accept exist. Think racism, sexism, homophobia, disability discrimination etc. These all began when someone thought it was a great idea to pretend like there are people within our society who are not actually people but somehow different to people, a lesser version, a more inferior version. Look where that got us and these periods in history had science and religion and politics behind them telling us there was universal truths in committing these acts of violence to our own kind.

But wouldn't it be simpler living in a world where you can see things how you want to see them but not actually how they really are.
If you could just go through life living in a bubble deluding yourself into believing everything is actually easier when you do things like this despite it actually alienating yourself and making it difficult for you to integrate into the world and learn to accept the way things are. Kids are like this in many ways, until they grow out of their childhood narcissism. When kids don't grow out of this though, they tend to become vicious, violent, manipulative and cold adults who play life like a deck of cards yet have no personal connection to what they do while leaving behind them a trail of destruction. The last thing we want to do is start trying to educate people into assuming this role in life. Such a role is devoid of meaning, value, intimacy, connection, compassion, empathy, appreciation. And you don't have to look that far to see examples of this during the last almost two years this has been going on. That shows you how dark things can get when we forget that life really isn't that simple and we can't simple turn the lights off and then back on and pretend like we can live happily ever after. One day we support racism, the next we don't. One day we support a tyrant, the next we don't. One day we are full of a hate, the next we are not. The consequences of these huge shifts are not negligible, they are pronounced and have long lasting consequences, as we can see throughout our history.

Booked the AZ vax for 10th August. First dose. Hope it all goes well. GP advised that because of my medical history that I should get immunised. Turns out I have bradycardia during sleep and could be related to sleep apnea but haven't diagnosed it yet. Sleep study was booked as well.

"Krinkle said this and Krinkle said that about vaccines and he's soooo ANTI-vax!!!!!"

"im gonna report him the next time he makes any anti-vaxx comments!"
