Outside of COVID, the police treat Australian citizens with more respect than US cops. Some lunatic with a badge pointed a gun at my dad when I was a kid in America and he's the nicest guy in the world. Big Brother in Australia is lazy and drunk like the rest of us.

The same applies again when you shift from Australia to NZ. The cops are seriously like childcare workers in NZ. It's insane. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend watching the NZ version of cops. It's called Motorway Patrol... or maybe it's Highway Cops. I get them confused sometimes.

Thanks. I'm missing a key piece of data, which is how many non-COVID vaccines have actually been administered in that time period ("since the 1990s"). Without that data (is it there, I don't know, I'm super stoned) I cannot sensibly interpret it other than shock/surface value which doesn't interest me.

The fact that this essential data is (seemingly?) missing from your link leaves me feeling a little suspect about whether or not whoever composed it is being - or even attempting to be - objective.

Something else to consider (once we have the missing data): a large percent of the non-COVID vaccines administered prior to and during the COVID pandemic were predominantly given to children, which is obviously going to affect adverse reactions and mortality rates.

Approximately half of the deaths appear to be from vaccines administered in the US, which is odd (to say the least) since that is wildly disproportionate when you consider the vaccine distribution in America relative to the rest of the world.

I'm going to need to have a look into it further.
 
common vaccines like tetanus, hepatitis, etc. and travel vaccines like dengue and... i dunno, eastern himalayan yeti flu. the system was set up to collect reports on all vaccines and the covid ones are too visible to just discount as not statistically significant.

Since the beginning of the vaccine rollout to 17 October 2021, approximately 32.7 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been given. So far, the TGA has found 9 reports of death that were linked to immunisation from 612 reports received and reviewed. The overwhelming majority of deaths reported to the TGA following vaccination occurred in people aged 65 years and older. The deaths linked to immunisation occurred after the first dose of Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca) – 8 were TTS cases and one was a case of immune thrombocytopenia (ITP).

The TGA might be lying, but there appears to be 9 deaths in Australia from the vaccines. The VAST majority of people I know (including many severely disabled people and many senior citizens) had basically no reaction to any of the vaccines. If people were dropping like flies and/or getting really sick I think I would notice because everybody here is vaccinated. I know one guy that got the blood clotting thing from AstraZeneca.

Let's assume that 9 is more or less correct, since there is no reason to assume otherwise. The USA is 13 times the population of Australia or thereabouts. Your vaccination rate is lower, but that works in your favour. Multiply 9 by 13 and you get around 100 deaths but the US has reported 8,000?

If you look down the entire chart you posted, the adverse reactions are wildly disproportionate in every category.

The USA has over 74% of all adverse reactions in the world?

We are mature, honest well meaning men and women, mostly.

We don't need to agree, disagree, approve, argue, defend, accuse, dislike.

I am here simply to discuss. With respect for others and the matters at hand.

We all feel stress. I know. I lost my head recently.

Civil discussion we can maintain. On Covid 😉 and else.
 
Here's some more maths for you guys, because I know everyone loves maths.

According to the TGA, there were 612 deaths following vaccine administrations in Australia. They concluded that 9 deaths were caused by the jabs.

Take 612 and divide it by 9. You get 68. Nice clean number.

Now take the reported American deaths - 8,068 (spooky huh?) - and then divide that number by 68 and we get 118 point something.

Now divide that number by 13 to account for the population difference.

What do you get?

The number nine.

Remember sense is not universally established.

It will forever lie in the eye of the beholder, and require the two to onow phenomenon.

Like I say, in theory, I can only make sense, to those who can understand sense.
