The BRIDGE works through neuro-stimulation and is an auricular peripheral nerve field stimulator that connects topically to the patient’s ear, blocking pain signals from getting through the brain.

I'm in the closed facebook group, and when I asked if it even helps with diarrhea and other symptoms, I was told it stops withdrawals entirely.
I'm very skeptical of this and have not seen anybody posting about it except on facebook. And most of the posts are from people selling or using the device in their treatment centers.

Anybody ever use this? Feedback? I can't even really find out about how it really works. Thank you!

I think CH and cj called it. I just spent about 1/2 hour tracking down info on this device, and it strikes me that:

a) the company that markets it is pretty damn shady. cf. http://i-h-s.com, especially their "Research" page, which includes:
"IHS products are FDA-cleared for use in the practice of acupuncture by qualified practitioners of acupuncture as determined by the states"
Additionally, their Research page refers to numerous studies on The Bridge, none of which have actually been published.

b) the device manufacturer assures us that The Bridge has been cleared by the FDA as a 501(k) treatment. This means almost nothing, and it *certainly* does not imply FDA approval.

c) the majority of even anecdotal evidence on the web is from sites for iffy-looking rehabs.

This device strikes me as complete snake oil. But I would be eager, of course, to hear alternative opinions on it.

It sounds like they threw some fancy sounding words together and said yeah that's good enough
