Don't frighten her away. It's part of the fun!

Yeah, I don't really want her to leave. She's probably the most moderate and light-hearted of the Trump haters on here. I like her, despite the fact that she's wrong about most things. :)

Yay!

I used to get to play right wing here, back when we had more hard left types bitching that capitalism was evil all the time.

Id get to say that communism was a discredited system, that controlled capitalism is the ideal. That abortion is wrong and that gun centered gun control was needless and that people have a right to defend themselves.

Now all the extremists seem to be hard right trump fans and I gotta play Democrat. :(

Funny, I see it the other way around. The left is becoming more extreme every day, to the point that it frightens me. So many people I know that lean left are incapable of having a civil discussion. Policy wise, people on the left don't even appear to be thinking. Biden (while not quite as crazy as AOC) is a perfect example of this. He wants to give 11 million people citizenship. Lots of people on the left in the US want an open border with Mexico. Left wing policies have become radically left recently. Right wing policies remain practically the same as they've always been. It is not the right that is being radicalized. The left simply cannot see their own reflection.

Something I think is interesting is how many non-Americans defend Trump (on this thread and elsewhere) despite left wing Americans insisting that he has ruined Americas relationship with allied countries. While I don't always agree with them, the most staunch defenders of Trump here are dalpat077 and TripSitterNZ... and like I said earlier, Trump has been nominated three times by allied countries for the Nobel Peace Prize because he is the least violent president in at least 40 years and has de-escalated a record number of foreign conflicts.

You're like the gift that keeps on giving to be honest! "Controlled Capitalism". Now that'd be a nice thread to have (and we'd be on the same side for once at least)!

We should open borders with Mexico. Let them all in.

Only thing to know about trump...he was called upon by the country to fight, and he chickened out. He is no leader, not even a follower. Another 60 days he will be back to a regular nobody, only now with more enemies than ever before. He will be going down very fast.

Shit. I forgot about @TripSitterNZ. That means we have to split the administration fee three ways! Lol!

Good luck with the above. I had another thread going at some point stating the exact same things and the extra holes that I got ripped are still in the process of healing and closing up! Let's see. Maybe you can handle the arguments and make the same points in a more eloquent and friendly manner than I was able to do!

Are you joking?

Obama got $400,000 for a single speech shortly after his second term.

Trump isn't going anywhere. He will never be a nobody.

Because he is a draft dodger. Huge deal. Means he was ordered to fight and chickened out claiming he had "bone spurs". Didn't seem to stop his fat ass from golfing many years later.

Someone like that should NEVER be the president. Draft dodgers shouldn't be allowed to even stay in the United States.

You're right, Stoner.

The president should be a murderer like Obama.

What do you call Qassim Suleimani?

I mean just putting aside any question of if he deserved to die... If you knowingly and intentionally end someone's life, do it without the backing of law (and under American law you have a right to a trial), when you had the option not to do it. Is that not murder?

I can see an argument for justifying that it was a defensible decision, I can't see a good argument to it not being murder though.

And for the record I'm not saying anything about Obama here one way or the other, I'd argue Osama bin ladins death was in all practical ways likely an assassination, and therefore murder too.

I'm just saying I don't see how trump isn't just as guilty as far as murder being an innate wrong goes.

Obama was re elected and turned this country around. He didn't murder anyone. Don't even think the guy shot a gun in his life.

I find it so odd that the only 2 trump supporters are from an island.

Anyway. You don't have to have shot a gun to murder someone.

If you give an order knowing it will be carried out to have someone killed, I see zero difference than if you'd pulled the trigger yourself.

And I'd argue both trump and Obama did that in practice during their term.
