They are doing those photo ops and things not really for the american public but to show that the US leader is strong to US enemies. the pentagon is on high alert and americas nuclear arsenal on stand by for any funny business from a america foe that could take advantage if the leader goes down. Trump is a fucking dumb as for going on parade though and the people with him even more dumb for not wearing full on enclosed hazmat biosecurity rated suits to not get covid. It's amazing how people get caught out by the exif data again and again. It takes less than 10 seconds to strip it in windows. People never learn.
