Yeah we are screwed here in the states. We won't be getting anything for free. If they are saying that costs 3k with a ppo insurance, could only imagine what the regeneron would cost. But I am willing to pay...pretty sure when you are dying of covid you will give up anything for the cure. 2020 is turning into an RPG - *you have been poisoned and bleeding*
 
What a jerk. Just rejected stimulus again. And he said its over. America going to suffer UNTIL I WIN (lol trump you are such garbage). Market reacted with immediate 1% correction.



Hopefully he just sealed his fate with this one.

I told you what it's like, it's awesome!
It's never worrying about going to hospital cause it costs NOTHING.
Its never worrying about paying for meds cause they have an upper cost of either 40$ or 6$ depending on if you get welfare. The quantity has an upper limit too, once you reach it it either goes down from 40 to 6 if you don't get welfare, or 6 to nothing if you do.

It's being able to go to a doctor any time and pay nothing. Or get blood tests or radiology scans and pay nothing!

It's freaken great. :D

And the craziest part. Last I checked Australia pays significantly less per person on Healthcare than America does!

I don't wanna paint Australia as a paradise compared to America, there's a lot of things I don't like. I don't like that it's illegal to so much as have a pocket knife to defend yourself. I don't like that there's no real free speech and that you don't have an absolute right to a legal defense.

But the healthcare shit? That's awesome.

If Trump loses. And I don't think I'll ever believe it until I see it happen. But if he does I think in hindsight it will be refusing to step up and take his role seriously with covid19 that was his fatal misstep.

A president that handled covid19 well I honestly think would be unbeatable. Many leaders who have handled it well have experienced a significant improvement in their popularity.

Trump however has tanked in the polls since it happened.
 
He could of just let the stimulus go through. Now he holding a vote on it. Just shafted millions. Just shafted the market. He is a very bad person.

The fact he is immune is really bad too. He will use covid to kill now.

You really think Trump has recovered from covid?

I don't. He hasn't had it long enough, even assuming he got it a couple days earlier than he claimed.

I think he's pretending not to be sick, but that he's still contagious. I think it's entirely possible he may get very sick again over the coming week.

We shall see. But I don't believe he's sars-ncov-2 negative.
 
Its gonna be in the USA history whats going to happen. And Trumps name will be in there. This will be the #1 president future generations will know about. We are going into the next cycle of USA history with trump at the helm. Fasten your seatbelts...

@JessFR I don't think so just yet. I know it carries on much longer, along with post issues. And I am certain you can even be re infected. However unlikely he will fall. He has too many doctors and resources. Would be a miracle, though :)
 
I've gotten the impression a lot of people think Trump couldn't possibly die from covid19 because presumably he has access to the best medicine in the world.

I don't agree. First off, I don't have nearly as much confidence that his doctors are as competent as most people seem to assume. But let's say they are, I also don't have much confidence that trump will actually follow their directions.

But let's say he does. I don't think the state of the art of medicine is nearly as capable as people think it is. I know of too many cases of people dying of disease in spite of every possible effort being taken available to modern medicine to save them. Sometimes you just can't beat nature.

Of course trump indeed probably will survive. Even at the worst of odds he was always likely to survive. And having the best medicine money can buy certainly helps.

All I'm saying is, thinking the president can't die because state of the art medicine is just that good, is something I don't believe to be true. :p

If Trump really did get very very sick. I think it's entirely possible he could die in spite of every best effort to save him.
 
Words are one thing. Trump has lots of words. But his actions. He claimed to have learned a lot about covid and today had the chance to help the american people, but chose not to. Claims...the money is going to high crime areas that have nothing to do with covid. Well they are high crime because there is no money...the guy just blows my mind. I can not see how anyone can vote for him.

Did you read the Bill? The majority of it doesn't even have anything to do with stimulus checks and the pandemic. It's an old tactic where they cram a bunch of unrelated stuff into a bill like this then shame the other side for not passing it.
 
I dont need to read it. Should of passed. American people are suffering. He is using his power to hold the stimulus UNTIL HE WINS. Then he is gonna pass some dope stims he says. He is garbage. A proper human being let alone the President would of passed it.

He is the President, he can make his own bill again. He is just holding votes hostage is all now.

Why is Trump the only one you blame? Who's a bigger problem, a president that only holds veto power or a House that would rather spend months drafting a 2,000+ page bill crammed full of unrelated things? It isn't the president's fault they aren't doing their jobs. Sending the people a second batch of stimulus checks should be a 3-4 page bill that does one thing. Instead, they're trying to pass a bill that is 2,000+ pages long that gives trillions of dollars to the Government and sends the people a few pennies.

It's a 2,153 page Bill that you have to cross reference with at least 15 other bills to even understand what all they've done. It gives trillions of dollars to the 4th branch of the Government (Departments of X) that are not accountable to the American people.

You should read every pending bill. People that don't read these bills are how we ended up with mass surveillance in this country due to a bill called the Patriot act. Anyone that believes the Democrats aren't trying to screw them over needs their heads examined. Both parties don't care about you. It doesn't matter which one is in power. If the people were paying attention Washington would have been cleaned out long ago.

If you aren't willing to pay attention and read these bills you shouldn't even have an opinion about them.
 
I agree but that this point who cares. Forget the democrats. Just pass it. They are printing money anyway.

He could of taken the upper hand and just said screw it and passed it since he knows people need it. Instead he is parading around on twitter holding votes hostage.

My opinion is not about the bill, it is about trump. Bill sucks I agree, but trump sucks more.

He goes out and says covid isn't worth worrying about and comparing it to the flu.

But I don't remember any president going to hospital and getting experimental treatments for a flu.

They all said the same thing about the Patriot Act and most passed it without reading it due to fear of terrorism. As a result we live in what is now a police state where every thing you do on your phone and the internet is collected and you can be raided and thrown in a prison at any time. It's the same thing with COVID, they're just using a climate of fear to pass a bunch of stuff they wanted that do not benefit the American people. If they really cared about you they would have sent you a second check months ago. They've timed this on purpose weeks before the election and if anyone says anything bad about the bill they'll say they don't care about the American people.

They are already saying Trump is hurting families because he won't sign off on this bill. Why is no one asking why the House waited until now to try to pass this? They've wasted the last several months in-fighting and passing bills that do nothing (see: Condemning Qnon aka people that say mean things about us on the internet).

Don't worry about it they censored his twitter so it never happened. We can't have people posting things that run counter to the narrative the media has created. Everything must be fact checked and if the facts change that's okay. We'll just edit the old articles and claim that was always the way things were. Anyone that thinks different is obviously mentally impaired and will be sent to camp to be re-educated.

I spent my entire life hoping we'd one day be able to have leaders that would communicate with the people directly instead of having to go through the media. We finally get the technology for that and the company that runs it censors anything those leaders say. The media is going through death-throws, they've lost their position as gate keepers of information and are doing anything in their power to retain it. They've done a good job at locking down the internet. 90% of traffic is going through a handful of big corporations. The other 10% is going over encrypted channels that can't be censored. That's why they're slowly making access to those channels illegal and blocking access to them at the ISP level. It won't be long now before places like BL won't be allowed to exist.
 
I feel bad for you, it must be so hard living in a world where you can't just go on Twitter and spread dangerous and obviously incorrect information.

I guess you'll just have to do without involving a private business.

What a tragedy. :(
