Does anyone actually support Biden? Not just as someone to beat Trump

If Trump acted like this it would be obsessively condemned all over the MSM:

No, I don't. The man reminds me Dubya kind if, just says some wacky shit, not to mention the clear video evidence of some sketchy behavior towards children (which, I will give Trump, has not been seen). And he personifies the establishment trying to maintain the status quo. I think (not 100% yet) that I would vote for him over Trump, because I want the dems to win so the progressive movement can get back on track... and I prevent Trump from another 4 years as I feel his behavior is damaging/ridiculing our country. But then, Biden not be much better.

This is why I want Bernie to be the nonimee SO BAD. I was looking at voter turnout by age (as a huge percentage of millenials/GenZ support Bernie), and the showing was dismal for those age groups which is deeply disappointing. I fear Biden will be the nom. He will almost surely lose. And I really don't support him, I'm not a fan of his legislative history and all he is going to do is keep working to keep the middle class down for his corporate donors.

I supported a couple of Dem hopefuls who didn't get far, but most of all, Bernie. To watch it slip through our fingers again is going to deeply disillusioning and tragic for me... if it happens. Seems likely at this point though.

In 2016 it happened because Hillary stole the primary. This year it might happen organically because (a) the right has heavily propagandized scary "Socialism", and because fucking kids and young adults dropped the ball so hard.

When I watch videos of Bernie speaking at political events, and the sheer kindness to strangers and the way to cuts straight to the chase and says the stuff I think needs to be said... it seems so incredibly fucked up that here we have a leader who really personifies what we need right now, but the establishment doesn't want t give him a chance because he's going to try to roll back all the kleptocracy we have built into the system. The ones in power are happy with how the system is working for them, and couldn't give two shits about your average citizen. Whereas with Bernie, it seems abundantly clear his heart is in the right place. Truly a man of the people, a good man.

Even though I think he's completely ineffective and his plans terrible, I like how he's rallied the youth into politics. If he spoke of actually overhauling the healthcare system and reducing prices/opening up the market then I think he could've won. You can't just say you're gonna tax the f**k out of billionaires. First of all billionaires are powerful so they're going to do everything they can to prevent your election. and it's not as simple as that these people are smart with their money and if they have to they'll take their shit overseas and then the USA is screwed. Sanders won't win the nom because most people realize his agenda would be disastrous. It's funny that these young people who distrust the government think the solution is to give the government more money.

And honestly if you want Biden then you're asking for more war. He tows the establishment line there and I find it bizarre and a little annoying that people don't give Trump enough credit for not starting any more wars. I don't live in the states so that's the #1 issue for me. Healthcare/economy would be 2nd but nobody since Ron Paul has ever had a realistic plan to fix that mess. Socially Trump has pretty much maintained the status quo so apart from being annoying I don't see why most people still have a problem with him. He's smarter than they give him credit for and he's not as unpredictable/reckless as they claim he is. I've withdrawn most of my support for him for other reasons but he is still by far the best choice out of all the prez candidates.

I never expected Democrats to fight against electoral fraud because they're weak. Sanders never sticks up for himself.
But I still blame Trump for electoral fraud. He had almost a full term to repair this issue and it'd be ironic if he loses to electoral fraud in the general (I believe he won the popular vote in 2016 after widespread electoral fraud in CA and elsewhere).

This dog & pony show continues because overall the masses are programmed...

Biden gave Obama a friendship bracelet with a charm on it in the shape of a pizza.... just sayin

In that creepy CSPAN video of Biden, Jeff Sessions actually swats Biden's hand away when he tries to touch his granddaughter.

It's so hard to find videos on youtube these days. Notice how all the results are MSM affiliated approved content? Even though a video with millions of views should be at the top it'll be buried and won't be on the front page even. They've changed their algorithms to prevent another 2016.

i'm a liberal and i think it's creepy as fuck. it's also creepy as duck when trump does it.
Why don't you just say it's creepy? Where do you have video of Trump molesting really small children?

*waits for video of Trump with his daughter on his lap*

You aren't going to get to see one of alasdairms blackmail trump Kompromat. It is filed next to his copy of the rooski pee tape..

Trump has made some pretty offcolor remarks about Ivanka on tape which are more than a little creepy... but Biden comfortably wins poltico creep of the year at the moment.

Your anti-Trump hate has blinded you to the point that you refuse to explicitly condemn pedophilic behavior. If you equate Trump with the same then you don't recognize the severity of it.

In fairness, he DID put a period so as to separate the two statements. Both can be true. Though, there is overwhelming evidence on Biden and we have yet to hear or see anything of Trump and kids. Grown women? Oh, hell yes. But kids...we're still waiting on any sort of evidence to support the statement I believe.

So, this was said by the Dem candidates:

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Sunday he would pick a woman to be his vice-presidential running mate.
"If I'm elected president, my Cabinet, my administration will look like the country, and I commit that I will, in fact, appoint a, pick a woman to be vice president," Biden said at the CNN-Univision debate in Washington, DC.

Biden continued, "There are a number of women who are qualified to be president tomorrow. I would pick a woman to be my vice president."
The comments come as Biden is seeing a surge in the presidential race over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and seeks to broaden his appeal and unify the Democratic Party.

Sanders said that "in all likelihood" he would pick a woman to be his vice president when pressed at the debate by CNN's Dana Bash.
"For me, it's not just nominating a woman," Sanders said. "It is making sure that we have a progressive woman, and there are progressive women out there, so my very strong tendency is to move in that direction."

Don't get me wrong, I like women 😘. But isn't the identity politics that politicians are criticized for? Shouldn't the goal to be to have the best candidate, whether it is a man or woman or eggplant? I appreciate Bernie's stance that he would "in all likelihood' pick a woman, in that it means he'll look for best candidates and have preference for a woman all other factors being equal. Biden, by saying he will pointblank 'appoint a, pick a woman' voids out all the male (and eggplant) qualified candidates from the get go. It seems limiting and pandering. I get the intent to break the cycle of 'best candidates with experience are men because men have been given preference for jobs that offer experience', but at the end of the day, I'd want the best candidate possible, without prejudice or an over-riding factor of SJW mentality.

How's it working out for Trudeau and his cabinet? I honestly don't know as I don't pay attention to Canuck politics.

I spoke with my mom the other day, she was saying she's so glad Biden looks like he'll win the primary because she doesn't want another old man in charge and at least Biden said he'd pick a woman VP. I didn't really bother trying to explain my position on that to her but it shows how prevalent identity politics is.

There are some fine women candidates who would make great VPs and I'd be happy to have a woman VP or president. But I dislike how people disregard the qualifications for a president or vice president or any public office purely on the basis of ethnicity or gender or whatever other group.

Biden also said that he would appoint an African American female to the Supreme Court.

That bothers me more than a VP pick. VP has always been basically a political/strategic choice. It used to be you picked someone because they were from a battleground state. Hilliary naively chose to continue that tradition even though it's proven to be ineffective in recent elections.

I hope Biden has someone advising him on this because I believe it will be the key to him winning if there's any chance of that at all. I'm fine with him nominating a woman...but he better make sure it's a progressive woman. If he doesn't nominate a progressive...one that can inspire people to have hope for the future, he will lose.

Many people will vote for Biden "to try and stop Trump" even if they expose themselves as massive partisan hypocrites in the process.
I don't think I will. I had a bad taste in my mouth after voting Dem in 2016. If they won't let Bernie have the nomination, I certainly won't vote for Biden. I honestly don't know who I'll vote for... anyone but Biden.
