So Jimmy Dore's sentiments run alongside my last post being moved to the conspiracy thread:
Jimmy Dore said:
Is it a conspiracy theory, are you gonna be called a conspiracy theorist for saying this stuff? Like making obvious connections between the money from Buttigieg, the newspaper, the app people and now the DNC. So they figure out "we gotta stop Bernie, we wanna stop the votes somehow we have to stop when Buttigieg is in the lead". And they did. So they figured out how to do that and now they're gonna bring in the DNC to count Bernie's votes. Why don't you just bring Trump in to count Bernie's votes?

"Pete for America Inc" donated $21,250 twice to SHADOW INC, an app company - why?

One of the SHADOW team is Tara McGowan, married to Michael Halle who is a senior strategist for.......... *drumroll*.............. Pete Buttigieg.

Also this was the first time EVER they didn't publish the Iowa polls.

In other words, stop with the snide comments and use the appropriate channels to complain about oppression.

There have certainly been some obvious DNC moves, like changing debate eligibility rules, but I’m not sure, as this article states what was corruption vs what was incompetence re Iowa.
But yeah, there’s an effort to undermine Sanders.

The thing is, they always knew they'd be able to blame counting failure on 'technology issues' - if needed - and nobody would ever know the real 'truth'. Even if it wrecked the Democrat's chances of seeming competent and winning the election.

So then it comes down to what you choose to believe, in the end.

And having seen parallels with how the UK Labour party elite have spent 5 years fighting the most incredibly self-destructive wars with opponents in their own party, rather than fighting the opposition, I can easily accept arguments this was intentional sabotage (even while still keeping an open mind).

Very helpful perspective! 🤔

incompetence.... lol... even if that were true and it wasn't corruption (which it almost certainly is), it doesn't look good supporting a party that is so incompetent they can't even run a state caucus.

I don't support the party I support a candidate.

A candidate who wouldn't associate with said party if there were another reasonable alternative.

Slow that down, rewind it, and listen for the left voices saying it about Trump and his tweets. How many times have people, even on the right, been flabbergasted at his histrionics, childish remarks, and general behaviour? It certainly gives one pause on supporting him.

Trump and his tweets aren't interfering with the democratic voting process though. A better comparison and one I'd agree with is how many Republicans in the party seemed to team up with Democrats to oppose or thwart Trump when it looked like he was a serious contender. I'm glad that happened though as it exposed parts of the "two party system". It showed how both sides agree on a lot when it comes down to protecting the swamp from perceived outsiders.

My indirect point above was that Dem voters should have accepted the reality of the DNC doing dodgy stuff in 2016 and demanded answers/reform then and there. If they banded together and did that then we might be looking at a fairer process this time. Because most of them ignored what happened last time (some going so far as to call others conspiracy theorists for merely pointing out what happened) then we can't really be surprised that they would try the same stuff again.

I'm down with this, but many others will be supporting a Dem candidate no matter who they are. The DNC banks on this mentality to push their chosen candidate through and hope that most people don't recognize how the process can be manipulated. I was on the verge of donating to the Sanders campaign in 2015, I'm glad I didn't as it turns out all of those donors were deceived and their donations wasted when the DNC arguably committed fraud to screw Bernie over and not allow him a fair chance to become the nominee. So I'm with you on supporting the candidate, I originally supported Bernie, then Trump and then Tulsi but she got shafted by the DNC worse than Bernie. Really sad

Looks like the Iowa Caucus debacle has had its desired effect.

Mayo Pete up 4% in NH just in the last two days, while everyone else is static or moving backward.

For the record, Buttigieg has a former CEO of the DNC on his senior staff as well as a former Goldman Sachs executive.

He's also a true McKinsey baby. I try to stay open-minded, but that shady international kleptocratic consultancy is to blame for a lot of ills in the world.

Sounds like a dude trying to win

trust me, I don't doubt his political skill. I think he's very good.

That's ultimately why I think the DNC has chosen to latch onto him. Young, gay but not too gay, military vet, and most importantly totally willing to play ball with the right people.
