Interesting. I thought warren was kinda mediocre. She had a good line but Mayo Pete kinda hit her back just as hard.

Sanders/Yang 2020 !

Freedom dividend would be awesome.

Decriminalize all drugs.

Renewable energy by 2049?

UBI is nothing but a bandaid to prop up a failed economic system and funnel public money to billionaires even faster

the other stuff you like about his platform is just a watered down version of Bernie's platform

Yang has ideas that are good in theory but probably wouldn't work in practice. Decriminalizing all drugs, I wholeheartedly agree on. I'm sure that nearly everyone here would agree with me on that. And honestly, I do think (or at least strongly hope) that someday drug prohibition will end completely. The universal basic income is coming from the right place in my opinion, but I am somewhat skeptical about the practicality of it. I know that he says he'd be able to accomplish this with a "VAT tax" on goods and services, but it still seems iffy to me somehow. Especially since I have heard the numbers do not quite add up. Also, I'm not so sure I believe in the idea of giving 1,000 dollars a month to everyone. I'm all for government benefits for people who actually need them, but I think the idea of giving 1,000 dollars a month to people who actually are making ends meet is completely unnecessary. I'd be all for his plan if the 1,000 a month were designed to go to the people who actually need it as opposed to being "universal".

the sooner everyone gets behind the best and inevitable DNC candidate, the sooner we can start working out how to fix the country together

I'm all for Bernie, man. I'm nervous that the scaremongering of Red Scare = "Socialism" is going to be too deep and too many people might decide to vote third party or something. Like even my mom, who is very left and who was all about Bernie in 2016 says she finds him too "exttreme" now. I disagree, of course, and unfortunately my mom is quite easily led. But then, so are so many people, and that's my fear. Nevertheless, Bernie is the only one I really feel good about.

BERNIE SANDERS OUTPERFORMS JOE BIDEN IN HEAD TO HEAD MATCHUP WITH DONALD TRUMP, NEW POLL FINDS

Though the difference is within the margin of error (3.4 percentage points) 39 percent of the 1,108 adults surveyed between December 18 and 19 preferred Sanders over Trump, compared to 37 percent who preferred Biden.

...

In the Ipsos/Reuters poll, Sanders is supported by more independents (21 percent) and Democrats (74 percent) than both Biden and Warren in matchups against Trump, but the president nonetheless claims more of the independent vote against Sanders, Biden and Warren.

In another measure of electability, however, the Sanders-Trump comparison compels more people to vote at the end of the day, according to the survey. Only 20 percent of respondents say they wouldn't vote if the election were held between Sanders and Trump. That's compared to 23 percent and 21 percent who said the same of Biden and Warren versus Trump, respectively.

You dodged half my question to make a joke. Do you believe there is no collusion, or corruption, that has occurred outside of the Trump invtestigations to date? More specifically, of the Dems working with Ukraine against Trump for 2016? If you believe it happened or not, should that truth be sought? And if it happened or not, is it possible both in the past and in the future?

There were a couple of stories related to foreign influence of the Ukrainians during the 2016 election to favor Clinton, although basically all of it was related to "digging up dirt" on Paul Manafort, and the story hasn't really fared too well recently...nevertheless several publications like Politico and the Washington Examiner reported on it, and some journalists like Glenn Greenwald have mentioned it several times in interviews, but I think there was possibly some journalistic malpractice involved in that particular story (although not NEARLY as much as the veritable mountain of literal fake news that comprised the Trump/Russia collusion story).

As far as the entire Hunter Biden story goes, yeah it was corrupt but not illegal. That's the whole problem!

Last debate had some fireworks I had forgotten all about, I need to dig deep for the funnies, when's the next debate anyways?

Is this real?
