All I could say about the master debate on Tuesday was "O no . . ." Things certainly have gone pear-shaped, the fact that Senator Sanders seems to be perhaps means that he is coming out on top is going to assemble a symphony of enemies without and within that I cannot imagine any party with any candidate withstanding, and Mr Yang and Congresswoman Gabbard are still well below 8 per cent or so, partially due to the tender mercies of the same alliance of rat bastards, Davos bootlickers, Wall Street vandals and Bolsheviks, and bloodsuckers that would do in Sanders even as they try to weaken President Trump as well for reasons outlined below, plus some demon snake mafioso sadist pinhead gangsters more familiar to people here like the rehab grandees that lambasted Mr Yang for suggesting something other than the orthodoxy on the fake gravy train opioid cri$i$.
Whether it was deserved or not, the image of Senator Warren, who I think is a very sensible candidate whose platform is a bit stronger than that of Senator Sanders, was not helped by the exchange recorded at the end; it was not something that gave confidence considering the diplomatic rôle a US President fills. Right or wrong, I wouldn't expect Messrs Macron, Guterres, Johnson, Jinping, Trudeau, Orbán, Kurz, Putin or Mmes Lagarde, CFK, Grabar-Kitarović, or Merkel then AKK or anyone else to stand for that mode of abuse so it isn't a good thing. I remember being able to tune in Burlington and Boston media at around the time in question and then- Mayor and Congressman Sanders had something like a 66 per cent or better name recognition in Montréal at the time and the subject of much interest, and I would be a bit surprised if Senator Sanders said what he is to alleged to have said in the context he is supposed to have, but even if he did I think there are more decorous ways for anyone to handle it. It appears this all erupted on the set of CNN of late, a media concern which self-immolated in the service of a cause that was well beneath them, so I think that says quite a bit. It is actually a recycled rhetorical grenade that never quite got any purchase as it was long on drama but short on specific facts from intra-SDS politics at the end of the 1960s if you want to know the truth. That is when I first heard of the man and I am not at all sure he was even a member of that group. It was tossed back and forth by a crew that marched off to go blow shit up shortly thereafter.
Appropriately, perhaps, for a news gathering organisation, such as they are, if they were a Linux command, CNN would be

President Biden is actually a somewhat sophisticated thinker, to where a lot of his would be constituents understand him poorly enough that all sorts of adolescent smears can be applied to him by left and right both, and a candidate with all the right experience and so forth but seems to have too large a target on his back to make it, second only to Senator Sanders. It is really a shame. Unfortunately, I think Senator Klobuchar is going to be the next to have her candidature run out of petrol. Mr Steyer is rather interesting, but could grow a Sanders-like target for some of the same and some of the opposite reasons.

If the recent impeachment had any of the actual effect that some people a little further from the centre of this were hoping -- as it seems no one in DC on either side has been able to see the forest for the trees for a long time, much less their arse from a hole in the ground, or in a tree in the case of some of the hornier of them, just think a minute about how one can really justify impeaching someone
before they are even in office, in some cases even elected -- wouldn't have rogue dirty economic pool players China have availed themselves of a chance to abuse President Trump this week rather than sign a trade agreement (which i still think is a trick that will not lead to economic self-sufficiency for the United States) and so on? The fact that they have better taste in friends that the US doesn't change the fact that China is a bully and cheater and chiseller when it comes to a number of economic matters, and it is totally unnecessary -- they could grow stronger and be less apt to be messed with through autarky, the same policy that allowed Austria-Hungary to keep relative peace in a swath of the world including a chunk of the Balkans and other places erroneously so called for something like 650 years until the parasites and perverts and Communists at Versailles and Trianon buttfucked them politically, to use the formal diplomatic and academic term, and cut them up into pieces. Wouldn't it have been nice if none of that ever would have happened and the fellow with one ball and a moustache that looked like a fly on his lip and a proclivity to eat shit and make other people die were to while out his days as a basher of a painter but a gainfully-employed if anonymous one maybe eating peyote with Codraneau and having Mazola parties with Mussolini, both of whom also would have chosen other occupations than politics, or was eaten by fish and turtles in the Danube after falling in from a bridge with a thong tied around his neck?
Given that some things need diligent and conscientious attention more than once a fortnight, everyone needs a hobby, no one is a hypocrite in their pleasures, and how some righteous and decent people suffer unspeakably under the yoke of what is called OCD in current clinical parlance, I am not at all inclined to use the term "obsession" or its derivatives as the term of abuse it has become in the last couple of generations in the States, and indeed it doesn't seem to cover whatever was driving Congressman Schiff especially. Ja, the Clinton impeachment was a crime and draconian and impossible to justify and the optics were even worse than this, but I seem to recall no electoral disaster for the Republicans in 2000, and in truth Trump didn't have this wounded bird phase in the middle where it would have been more decorous for him just to quit as with Clinton for a brief time and Nixon pretty much terminally, well, because it sort of takes the sting out of it if one starts spitting and raving about impeaching someone as far back as 10 days before the election or more.
By the way, i wonder if Mr Schiff is related to the founders of the venerable pharmaceutical and therapeutic goods concern which has amongst its offerings butt plugs, laxatives, unpleasant and questionable means of disease prophylaxis for use in cunnilingus, and various species of crotch powder. Given the deteriorating human rights situation in the States at this point, that is what I would want to be remembered for in 50 years if I were him, not the alleged accomplishment he just had. It began deteriorating rapidly in 1913 in a manner that was still being cleaned up almost 100 years to the day when it started going downhill again when the gravy train left the station on the fake opioid cri$i$.
