Though, I am curious if Trump will pardon his friends, or let them sit a while. My hope is he doesn't do shit. The second question then becomes if the investigation into the FISA beginnings will unravel wrongdoing by anyone that voids the indictments on his friends in any way. I'm talking out of my ass, I have no clue if it is even possible, but being clueless allows me to speculate on the absurd at times.

Well when you consider the fact that Trump promised it'd be a solid concrete wall that will stretch across the entire border that'd be 100% paid for by Mexico and that it'll have zero effect on fentanyl ODs I wouldn't call it much of a win.

Neither is it trumps fault Mexico refused to pay.. He couldn't have known Mexico would refuse to pay.

And that's really one of the biggest (and lamest) gripes against Trump from the pearl-clutchers. They're not used to a leader not being PC and they never thought someone like that would be in power.

Imagine what it might be liked if we lived in a world where it actually mattered if you were caught lying?

I've always found it strange that we generally teach children their whole lives not to lie, that lying is wrong. But then they get older and realize that was a lie in itself. In reality, the entire world is built on lying.
 
Imagine if we lived in a world where we were this obsessed about politicians lying BEFORE Trump was around.

We might have even been able to prevent the political environment leading to the rise of Trump.

But we don't actually care about lying, because when it's "our" side that does it we make excuses and deflect for them.

Alasdair - did Obama ever make tweets or comment highlighting how bad it was in Bmore? So Trump is actually doing something by shining light on the situation and bringing it to people's attention - that way the public rallies and pressure results in actual change. So yeah he's doing a much better job than Obama in every facet of the job (except pandering to leftists) and it's time you were honest enough to admit that.
