THC level of 38%..???

I heard and never tried it. Is 38% BS or what?? How one can be so sure?8o
 
According to the DEA, the average potency of High Grade pot confiscated in the year 1999 was 10.4%. The average THC percentage in commericial grade buds was 4.4%.

Sorry I don't have more recent info but as we both know, there hasn't been that much of a significant change in bud quality since 1999. The average THC percent in Hash was around 40% though so if you are talking about Hash then yes it is possible. If its bud, then I highly doubt it.
 
Think, for a substance to be 30% thc it would need to be about a third thc. You'd be pretty amazed by how that looked, for it to be a third translucent crystals
 
With good genetics and proper growing you could produce some buds with %'s in the high teens, but 38% is bs, unless the person was talking about hash.
 
It was a bud. She said bud was so sticky it stand on it's head(?), on table. All she know is it's very stinky and sticky.

Was bud for sure but it's hard to belive it has 38%. I wonder what it's like to hit a that much thc.
 
On Dutch cannabis cups, what's been the most ever found? Something in the mid twenties of THC? Not much more I bet.

Ya i believe it was 22% and it was one of the White Widow varieties.
 
i was told by a lady who works in a medical dispensery (cannabis club), that the purple strains they sell are around 20%.
 
Could be a secret mad scientists genetically engineered version of cannabis slowly seeping its way into the public for consumption.

...you never know...

Did anyone read this? And the bud in question is said to be Thirty eight percent, that is over one third.

....and another thing, how does the individual know that the bud is thirty eight percent. Where are the test results, or was the number thirty eight just pulled from a hat?

Can you even provide a photo of the bud?
 
2 years ago I was on the high life hemp fair and I was offered buds that won a category, supposedly it was tested at 27 or 28%, I don't think it can get much more crazy then that. Something in the mid twenties is already some extremely potent bud, 38% is just out of the question, not possible.

Here's some results from buds that were tested at the fair last year, one of the highest percentages of the day:

the bud probably wouldn't be able to support its own weight, and would just be a big gooey puddle on the floor. 40% lol.

But seriously, a plant's structure could sustain that. Cheetoes are 40% fat, and they don't have any of Mother Nature's Magic to sustain them.
 
Instead of working on cannabis plants this hard, why hasn't someone made a coconut tree with natural rum coconuts? I mean, alcohol is even legal, and people pay 1000 for a bottle of louie IX or whatever. ;)

That's what I was thinking..how one would know? I wish i was there to take a pic and taste some but ..oh well.
