Techno scene in canada?

No, I got called a pig "headed-american" because I didn't know how to order a coffee in french and they acted like they couldn't speak english.

-btw, after 20 mins of explaining I had to leave Tim Hortans without a coffee.

That's a shame, I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Quebec can be a really great place, but as I'm sure you know it's possible to find jerks in pretty much every culture/place. Maybe the kid you were ordering coffee from was hungover and having a bad day? Maybe they were just a socially maladjusted twit? Who knows really?

I've only had good experiences interacting with people in Quebec and have found people try to speak English with me even if I speak in French to them first.

So even though I wasn't the one who denied you your coffee, I apologize on my country's behalf for treating you poorly. We're not all bad :)

I've never been treated poorly by Quebecois and I've spent collectively like 3-4 months of my life in various places in Quebec. They all speak perfect english and if you already speak english IDK why you'd be pissed about having to use it. French and English are both the official languages in Quebec, all the signs have French and English on them, so if a Quebecois is being an asshole to you its because they're an asshole.
If you go to Montreal go to Club Stereo!
I LOVE CANADA!!!!

Stereo has a good sound system but unless you want to be surrounded by a sausage fest, mostly old sweaty men then i suggest you try other venues.

Circus and Red Lite being better choices, IMHO.

If anyone visits Montreal hit me up with any question you may have, I'll try to make your time here the best as possible.

From my experience, BC in general is all about house and breaks. But I've never been to Van, so I can't say for certain.
