Amola, if you want to find some good turntables at reasonable prices then you should check out http://www.pssl.com and search under the used. Another great place to find them is on Ebay.
 
Ifn ya wanna save some cash.. go for the Gemini 2000III. Or even the I or II series. They are exactly the same as the Technics, but a couple of hundred $ cheaper. Also the III seris has a reverse feature on it, where with the technics, you have to buy an extra chip to get the same feature. I know 'guitar center' is really trying to push the Gemenis.. so you can get new ones there at a really good price.
