SYMPTY 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Saturday - October 26, 2002
VENUE: The Key Skate
220 East 138th St.
Bronx, NY 10451
CHRIS LIBERATOR vs. JULIAN LIBERATOR vs. AARON LIBERATOR
***First USA Appearance - The Triple Liberator Tag - Sympty
Exclusive***
This is insane! This is the performance that everyone has been
talking about for almost a decade but has been unable to witness
until now. Truly a historic moment in the history of the North East
Underground, the pioneers of London Acid Techno will be flying in
from the UK to put on a performance that will be talked about for
many years to follow. For this once in a lifetime event, we will
have all 3 Liberators playing simultaneously on 6 turntables and 4
mixers. Waiting for the right moment to drop the atomic acid bomb, it
was only fitting that something this momentous will be displayed at
an event very special in the history of Sympty Productions and the
North East Underground.
PUNK FLOYD

***Back By Demand - The World's First Live Acid Techno Supergroup***
Almost exactly 3 years ago at COUNTDOWN 9, history was made when the
New England Massive decided to come together to show the world the
power of the underground. In the face of [irony?] "HURRICANE
FLOYD" [a full fledged hurricane that hit the North East the day
of the party], we unleashed a power that was more devastating than
any natural disaster and leading our way was the First Ever USA
Appearance of the World's First Live Acid Techno Supergroup -
"PUNK FLOYD". Their performance that night was something
so special that for 3 years we have consistently received requests
for an encore performance. Well, tonight is the night that you don't
want to miss. Prepare for the London Acid Invasion!!!
D.A.V.E. THE DRUMMER
D.A.V.E. the Drummer killed it at our last massive COUNTDOWN 2K2!
Deck technician and production wizard, D.A.V.E. the Drummer is no
newcomer to the world stage. Over the last three years he's taken his
unique DJ sound to countries such as: Brazil, Japan, Australia,
Venezuela, America, and Canada to name but a few. The U.K. national
press has been quick to acknowledge him. Interviews and guest reviews
have appeared in all major publications such as Mixmag, DJ Magazine,
and Wax magazine. His productions over the last six years have
appeared on labels such as Smitten, Bionic Orange, Hazchem,
C.O.S.H.H, and of course the Liberator DJ's Stay Up Forver. There
have also been releases on Noom, Pounding Grooves, Primate,
Harthouse, Molecular, Eukatech, Chris Liebing's CLR label and Fine
Audio Recordings.

wow i was about to post this party
I will DEF be there, with at least 10 ppl from bucknell Uni. Pakistan, USA, England, India, Korea, will represent!

*kicks self* My pride in finally having a good job I love, is weakening with every new thread...
So my boss got bored last week and made the staff schedule... for every day until November. :\ It took more than a lil sweet talking to get 3 days off for Boo, so yeah... *kicks own ass again* D'oh.
Peace ~Katie

do i see THE GEEZER on this lineup?
yes, i think that i do
ive never seen him, but have heard stories
that the guy will rail k off his equipment
and get completely wasted in every way
he and the crowd going nuts to him banging out killer music while being totally mashed up
...or so ive heard :)
if this wasnt at the key skate, i might actually consider it... ah well
i think ill be in the poconos anyway... its the day before me bday :D
have fun*

sounds like a good time but a little close to boo 7. oh well, i don't have a job yet so i gotta a lot of time on my hands.
THE WOOD -> bucknell peeps partying outside the greek scene? thats always something nice to see. anyway drop me a message, it would be cool to meet you guys. I graduated from bu in 2001.

^whoa nice!
yeah there is a group of about 15 party kids that hit up alot of parties. rest of the campus is stuck in the "bucknell bubble," if you know what i mean.

I'm still considering hitting this up. For everyone who's been there before, how's the vibe, sound, lighting, security, drink prices...etc?

look like we'll be hit'n this one up! Skee and friends seems to have nothing to do with themselves but party every dame weekend! life sucks! hehe
Hartbeat here "capital ave" aka "smackave" the bud spot :1053:
OUT!

36 beans what a fucking gip and the key is a shitty venue, would think about going to see dave the drummer but prolly have work anyway.

Know your rights. Taking your shoes off in NY State is considered a strip search. THAT WAS ILLEGAL!

LOL, tell the security what they are doing is illegal and ALOT more illegal things will be done to you, including you getting the shit beaten out of you, which is also illegal, and robbed for all yer shit, which is also illegal.

Why do you people support a venue that this regularly occurs?
I've admitted in the past that I've always had a good time at the Key. I've witnessed some shady shit, but it never directly effected me. I now refuse to party there.

if it says roar on the flyer
they can refuse you if you do not take off your shoes and such
i dont support that venue
but im sure most of you know that
im quite vocal about it
everything about it is wrong, imo
its the shadiest shade that ever shaded, or something

i'm wicked excited for this party - it's gonna be a good time!!
i haven't been to a party since i got to school.. boo!
oh! i'm new by the way =0]
