Sydney - Big Day Out 2006 - Sydney Showgrounds - 26/01/06

I'm rostered to work that day now...hmmm...that should be interesting.

Hmm, to go to the Big Day Out or spend the weekend at a beach house on the central coast with 10 of my best friends drinking beer, playing sport and listening to the hottest 100.

Mylo pulling out has started to tip the scales....

o yeah, also on the Mylo Situation, they have moved...

SONIC ANIMATION to where his set would be and there is now a T.B.A in the hot house between 8:45-9:30 which is where i think M.I.A was... maybe?

im stoked now, im going to be having a top night finishing in the boiler room!

i think sonic animation may have been moved up to mylo's time slot madmick. i may be wrong but check it out so you don't miss them :)

MYLO sux anyway. i saw him at Glastonbury and spoken to friends who have seen him and all he basically does is play his album. Quite boring when you've heard the album heaps. Dont feel ripped off by him cancelling. He is shite live.

Go see 2ManyDJs - they wont play their normal comercial mix tape type stuff - more techy. very good mixing.

Spewing im missing the BDO again due to being in the UK. Oh well, it will always be there when i come back one day!

dogs will be back at the entrance to the Sydney BDO this year, as well as
making their debut at the Melbourne event and other states.

For the record, the Big Day Out does not condone drug use at our events.

Likewise we don't support the use of sniffer dogs at the entrance of the
Big Day Out event as we are hoping to give patrons a joyous experience and
believe this initiative clearly discriminates against them as a group.

We especially do not condone strip searches based on a sniffer dog
methodology which can be inaccurate and possibly lead to incorrect
identification of innocent patrons.

In the unlikely event you are mistakenly searched, please keep calm but
register your complaint ASAP to the appropriate organisation.

Above all, don't let them ruin your day.
