Stimulants Switching kratom for Adderall?

Anybody know about how this would work if possible? I’m thinking about slowly dropping my kratom use with adderall. Instead of going cold turkey tapering with increasing doses of adderall…
 
u quitt kratom man....what's happened?Didn't endure paws or what?Why to change some herb(although addictive) with some addictive psychostimulant?What's the point?U have seen the kratom withdrawls-they did not scared u.......why u wannna quitt kratom?Did not feel anything from it and this drives u mad?or is a financial burden?or make u sick or unhappy?Kratom especially acts upon me like some natural analog of tramadol.Felt his pleasurable effect only once or twice in the beginning....later nothing.....it's ok,if it is legal here,but is not from more than five years or so....and as to plain leaf as i remember-affordable....when was still not in schedule list-a 100 euro a month
 
yea back on kratom due to life not allowing. So I’m just gathering information and like a lot of us in here I like to have knowledge and experience aka making my toolbox bigger… the more I know the more confident I am in getting myself out of situations I may end up in…

Kratom binds to opioid receptors, Adderall releases dopamine, different types of addictions.
 
I don’t get addicted to adderall .. don’t like it enough but it works for sure

Stimulants Thread 'Why is amphetamine so good at keeping opiod wd at bay?'

I'm currently forced to use speed to prevent heroin wd until my letter is finally in my mailbox (hopefully tomorrow). Initially I planned to take only so much to not feel wd, but you know how it goes...I'm fully amped up now lol.
Can somebody tell me why amphetamine is so good at preventing opioid withdrawals? As far as I know an opioid wd is caused by the brain's system being flooded by adrenaline. Shouldn't speed make wd worse then?
I can't tell you guys how lucky I am to have found a bag of speed in my drawer by accident. I was expecting my letter to come today but it didn't and was...

Yeah ditch the kratom man. I only use that stuff to try and kick dope. Once your withdrawals are done you won't need it anymore. Kratom doesn't really do anything recreational for me, it's like a 50 / 50 if it will releive withdrawals.

ok epic. Have a long day so will try to attempt tomorrow. Have to sit in the dr office all day so don’t wanna be tweaking lol… any advice for the comedown?

Which one the adderall or are you talking about coming off kratom? Hopefully have dependence to kratom that would suck. It's pretty tough to get though.

I have a small opioid habit of like 15mg oxy a day I’m using kratom to come off like 4 gpd… I’ve had extremely high opiate habits so shouldn’t be too bad in comparison..

The comedown for adderall, I usually end up wanting a benzo or an opiate when it wears off

Use the kratom. I don't remember how much I had to take it was like large kitchen utensil spoon full. That would get me well sometimes. I don't know anything about you physically or your tolerance, do a dose you that you normally do but add a little more. Quit the oxies though and take the kratom, maybe go a little over what you usually do so your sure the withdrawals will be fought. I used maeng da, I believe red Bali also is good. Do the kratom for like 5 -6 days, your opiate withdrawals will be getting alot better at day 6 - 7. I would cut the kratom here to not get addicted to it physically.

It's not going to be like a great time but youe discomfort should be mostly held over.

4g kratom split completely eliminate the W/D so 2x2 is where im at. I’ll start the kratom again and try to taper while going up on the adderall maybe? Just worried about the nausea from both as well as the lack of appetite too. Trying to mitigate. Usually use ketamine for W/Ds but my tolerance is too high rn
 
Maybe just hang on to your adderall get through your sick period with the kratom. Then switch over to adderall. Addies can help with withdrawal too but your on a low dose so it may just make you feel bad when your withdrawaling.
 
I need a dopamine hit and kratom has been making me anxious… this is a tough one. I feel like adderall and benzo if needed tomorrow and then if the aches get too bad could add some kratom.. tried my last bit of oxy today and i feel like the kratom may be blunting the effects a bit so probably going to add kratom in the mix later today, if thats even ok… gunna have to do some more research. I also have buprenorphine tablets so could do a rapid taper with those may work better than the kratom just know they ain’t no joke to kick as i have so many times before
 
Id say no to the bupe. If you think you can be comfortable with the adderall and benzo do it. Make sure to dose the kratom first though. Kratom doesn't always work and i like to feel it come on so i know its working. Sometimes you'll eat like 5gs and you'll still be sick. That's why i was recommending maybe skipping the other stuff. If you think you can sleep and handle it go for it. Take kratom and adderall then take the benzo at night to sleep.


Edit: also kratom and opiates don't really interact. If you took the bupenorphine and then oxy you would go into precipitated withdrawal.

Unfortunately I’ve put myself in precip that way so i fount that out the hard way, today i took 7.5mg oxy but im almost out and like to keep a little stash. Would it be better to just do oxy today and back to kratom tomorrow or could i add kratom? Not sure how/if they mix

Yeah if it's your last get it over with don't leave any stashed either once your in WD you gotta get through lol. Kratom and
Oxy I'm pretty sure have no interactions. I'll double check im an idiot sometimes lol. If you do the oxy today just do oxy and start getting everything ready for the next day cus it will be happening.
