Well, my favourite season has come to an end and it's been jampacked full of goodness... just thought I'd see how everyone else has filled the space from dec-feb!!
For me the festive season started on 29th Nov with my work christmas party and this year stretched right thru to Two Tribes last weekend. I've now got 3 mnths of sleep deprivation and bank account abuse to make up for.
Highlights:
*1st trip to Sublime in dec. Also met BLs for the first time (one of whom has become a very good friend.)
*A heap of other great day/nights out - Field Day, My 22nd bday, Big Day Out, TRANSMISSION!!!!, Two Tribes/SOS.
*Holiday with best friends in early jan - spent a week lying on the beach up the north coast and actually got a decent tan for the first time in years :)
*My job is going great - not only are the ppl I work with complete champions, but I have been at the top of my team for performance reviews for the last 2 mnths.
*Learnt some valuable lessons and made some decisions about where I'm headed in life... lots of self analysis!!
*Meeting someone at Two Tribes who I'm hoping to spend a LOT more time with ;)
*****
hope you've all had a good one!!

I'd say the highlight for me has been re-establishing myself (in my own eyes of course) as an independant and worthy human being :)
I too abused my bank account and my body clock, but thats what winter's for after all ...
Three cheers for life :D

Dec/Jan... so many parties. Hmm.. summer highlights
* CJ Bolland @ Welcome
* Basement Jaxx @ Summerdayze
* Trip to Cairns (one weekend with no chemicals)
* Market Saturday nights. Onelove Saturday nights. Revolver Sunday mornings. Vineyard Sunday nights.
* Fitzroy Street/Acland Street
* Redraw, Australia Day long weekend
* Orange hair
* Pride March and St. Kilda Festival
* New friends and ditching fake ones
Bank account abuse :(
My life revolvers around going out and parties. Two Tribes will be my last big one for a while so it's going to be a special night for me. Ahh... endless summer; where did it go?

* Doing my first successful flip on a wakeboard :)
* Clearing my debts
* Seeing my son catch his first fish (oh ok so I helped)
* Still being cigerette free
* My new Commodore
* My new PC and ADSL
* New friends
* Bluelight animefest :D

* Installing about $8000 worth of home improvements into my house was my biggie.
* Buying a new laptop.
* Payed off my $3000 credit card debt.
* Giving up the pills (it was enforced on me though).
* Some great acid moments. *fuck yeah* :D
* Loosing my urge to go clubbing regularly.

has def been the best summer yet:
*firstly- getting together with ma boi
*spending time at the beach with apollo and getting to know him better
*seeing my best friend more than I had all year! (massive hugz to you my girl :) )
*my new years double... WELCOME 2003!!!!!!
*Meeting and getting to know lotsa new people eg. Funki.. (luv you girl!)
*having my Grandma out form germany, and actually getting to spend quality time with her.
*how can I forget two Tribes- fucking awesome night!
But I would have to say that this summer was especially worthwhile because it was where I found who I really was. I re-established myself in my own eyes, did what I wanted to do rather than what I thought was right.
altogether a success :)
xx

one love saturday nights, revolver sunday mornings, vineyard sunday nights!!!
highlights for the summer;
getting a gf, then breaking up with her.
cutting ties with my best friend of 8 years.
getting used to full-time employment and ENJOYING my job!
re-establishing direction in my life.
knowing who my true friends are, and going places with my job!

Highlights of my summer of lurrrve: :D
~ Beautiful holiday in Apollo Bay with my man, staying at a B&B, eating fish& chips and relaxing in ocean-view spa
~ Buying my "new" car!! Gorgeous silver 2001 Toyota Corolla Ascent.... my first good car.
~ Getting with that hot chick on boxing day ;)
~ Valentine's Day: top night, and the next day getting a professional massage with my man in the same room... heaven
~ Concerts... so many... KISS last weekend stands out from the crowd. Standing on our seats (pilling ;) ) roaring to "I was made for loving you baby!!" Yeah, cheesy, good old rock n' roll fun at it's finest.
It's been a good summer.

the last summer/summer just gone has probably been both the most trying and the best summer i have ever had. over the last summer i have had to re-find myself and my individuality, my self-confidence and build up my inner strength.while it has been a trying summer i have had a great one to. some of the reasons are:
Earthcore Nov02 *volcanoe*
my continual friendship growing with certain melbourne *jaded* bluelighters :) u know who u are guys
meeting doon and forming a strong friendship
CJ.Bolland and Space DJs at Welcome03 NYE
starting my move to melbourne
moving back to sydney
working
managing to go through a whole event totally sober and straight and still having a blast
TRANSMISSION-meet katmeow
Two Tribes-met bopgirl
overcoming my mothers cancer situation and learning to cope with it
and continually strenghtening myself menatlly and physically.
bring on the rest of the year :)

It's good to see all of you with so many highlights! Me, however, I can only put one.
Outback Eclipse Festival.
I was changed forever. Sitting on the top of a hill, with the girl I love by my side, coming up on the cleanest MDMA powder I've ever had, watching the moon pass in front of the sun. I'm sorry, I can't put it into words.... Wow...
Fucking wow.

*drug free hols 4 me,well amphetamine free anyway
*meet up with some old school mates
*sitting in the sun reading some of my books

Well this Summer has sure been a weird one. The first half of it was probably one of the darkest periods of my life (scary), but now I've found that I'm coming out of it a much better person indeed. :)
Highlights for me this Summer were:
Earthcore
Christmas
Summadayze
BDO
Hardware Universe
Valentines Day ;)
Knowing that people actually care about me, thankyou. :)
Realising that some things just aren't worth crying about, there's a reason why we were born to laugh y'know. ;)
Finding someone special who is right for me. :)
Feeling like I can live life again normally without always feeling sad or unhappy.
Booking my holiday to London with my S.O. *yay*
Getting the ball rolling on certain aspects of my life.
There's a few other moments, but no need to mention them in here. :)

My personal highlights:
-> Earthcore (particularly James Holden's morning set) :D
-> Summadayze (Mark James dropping Kirsty Hawkshaw - Fine Day)
-> UNDERWORLD!!! :) :D
-> A wonderful acid trip that allowed me to explore my house in many different ways ;)
-> Dumonde opening their set at Pharmacy with Plastic Boy - Silver Bath
That's all folks, and TT is still to come. I've got a date with Armin...

hhmmm..
renovating my apartment and getting it rented out
anime fest
Spearmint rhino last weekend
Underworld @ metro
thats about it..hopeing to add Two Tribes but that's not really summer I guess...

Hmmm... this summer has been all over the place for me...
Highlights include:
-buying a new car, no more PT for me!
-Watching my band progress and grow to the best line up we've had so far (and it's getting better all the time)
- meeting so many new and exciting people.
- forming some very deep and meaningful friendships, as well as strengthening those already in place...
and just having a mass of fun in gerneral. I'm looking forward to the new uni year - it holds so much potential! :)

- Passing my first year of uni
- NYE utopia, for the first time in my life i enjoyed my new years
- Trying my first trip
- being able to sleep in for a change
Yea, thats about it

Ive really only had 2 highlights for this summer...
1) the trip to the outback eclipse festival, barrossa valley, adelaide, melbourne and sydney in december... I cant wait to do that again!!! am thinking of a driving holiday to the barrossa valley in november in my...
2) 1969 VW red carerra superbug. Its always exciting when you get your first car, its even more exciting when you get your dream car for your first car. I love driving it!
apart from that my summer has been spent being very responsible about things and doing the usual 9-5 shit...
