Hi team,

Quick background. Was on oxy for around 6 months last year and switched to Suboxone because I just was over being high all day long.
I started on 8mg of Suboxone and quickly realised that was way too much so I went straight down to 2mg and stayed there for a few months, fast forward to 4 months ago and I got down to 1mg per day (0.5mgs 2x per day) and my doctor has now stopped prescribing so I’ve got 2 days worth of subs left. I’ve been on subs for x1 year in total and the majority of that time I’ve been on 1mg per day.

My question is, how can I get through the withdrawal reasonably comfortably? I have the following drugs to use but am unsure if they will be helpful

Clonidine 0.1mg tablets x20
Zopiclone x1 7.5mg tablet
Temazepam(restoril) x20 10mg tablets
Loperamide - 200 tablets

I’ll be honest I’m horrified of going through the withdrawals, my body seems to go into withdrawal like 12 hours after my last Suboxone dose which I don’t understand how that’s possible. I have detoxed off oxy in the past but was simply too weak this last time and decided to go onto Suboxone but quickly realised that was a bad idea and now I’m in a position where I’m worried the withdrawal is going to be worse and drawn out,

Has anyone read about mega dosing vitamin c for withdrawal?

Have you come off? Did you try the vitamin c method.

Just be careful how much loperamide you take. I wouldn't take more than 12 tablets a day, at the most. Can lead to heart problems if you start getting in and around the 100mg range.

I have done once the bupre withdrawal. I got down to 0,25 maybe and then straight away clean. And yes, I used the vitamin c powder method. The withdrawal was nothing like heroin or methadone it was muuuuch milder but the mental part and the sleepless nights were tough. I had just a couple of Xanax pills for the first 3-4 days and then nothing. Plus I was working all the time and it was very important that no one will notice that I am withdrawing. I couldn’t sleep well for maybe a month. I was using subutex what I was buying from the streets for maybe 1 year.I made 6 months completely clean and then my curiousity to try Levopidon put me back to the game again.

The vitamin c method helped me honestly, I am speaking about huge amounts of vitamin c plus other additives and loperamide of course.

For interest sake as I see the OP hasn’t posted again but just some info from mpe or account. When I got down to 300mcg a day of bupre and then went of I had about 3 days of acute wds, rls being the killer. After that it got easier and within a week most wds were gone. Just the lethargy and feeling bleh was the next hurdle to get over.

And in the first week I mostly just used gabapentin and loperamide. Above my other meds which were benzos. Had some light paws a few weeks later but was mostly cold sweats and rls and over again in a few days.

So for me personally if you can get your bupre dose to 500mcg a day or lower then the wds will be a bit easier and not long.
