If you truly want to get clean, get some benzos or clonidine. I'm going through suboxone withdrawals right now, day 7?...or something, lack of sleep has messed up my timeline. But anyway, the clonidine will help with the chills/sweats, which to a lot people is the most unbearable part of withdrawals (at least for me anyway). You will definitely feel uncomfortable, but not nearly as long as you would coming off the subs. I got off at .25 mgs, maybe less, and I still feel like crap. Constantly cold, then hot as hell, skin is crawling, can't eat, can't sleep.
I am a firm believer that Suboxone is more for people who are/were HEAVILY into opiates. Heavily meaning a 2-5 bags/day of H, 160+mgs of Oxy daily. If you're mentally prepared to quit, then get the clonidine or benzos. But just to reiterate, suboxone withdrawals are A LOT longer than fast-acting, short-lived opiates. Good luck my friend.
EDIT: Okay actually I'm going to have to agree with Oatmeal. If you do get on Subs, make sure you start off LOW, that is so important. I started off at 2mgs when I had a 300+mgs Oxy + H habit and it kept my withdrawals at bay. If your doctor tries to start you off at something ridiculous like 8mgs twice a day, tell him/her to fuck themselves. They know nothing of the drug. If you happen to start off at 4 mgs or so, try and go as long as possible (2-3 days) between doses. I know that sounds ridiculous, but suboxone has a really really long half-life. My biggest mistake was taking my suboxone daily, but when I took it in the morning, I wasn't even feeling bad. It was all mental. Gradually move down to 1mg within a couple of days and then .5mgs, then .25mgs. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or just ask here.
