Suboxone/Triazolam/Alcohol Teeth Extractions, Need Advice.

Friday 5/16/25 I am getting all of my teeth extracted and a temporary denture in place. Currently I am taking buprenorphine at about 4mg a day intranasally in super small doses about every 4 hours. I am also sort of going through this alcoholic phase where I am drinking anywhere from 10-15 5.9% 12oz beers from dusk to dawn every single day.

Obviously the alcohol and Suboxone mixture is already stupid enough. I am INCREDIBLY terrified of being at the dentist and so they have offered to give me Halcion (Triazolam) as a way to ease my nerves (JUST during the procedure).

I think any experienced user will understand my concern here. My question is how long should I stop taking the Suboxone and beer for prior to the ingestion of Halcion, and how long after until I can resume them? The beer is already going to give me a handful of trouble during my recovery process with my gums being open wounds. But I unfortunately do not have insurance and this is the only time my grandmother is going to be able to pay for this procedure. I am trying to quit the alcohol use by tapering down to a point where I only use beer at night. It IS a LOT of beer drinking, but it's spread throughout the day to a point that I never really have a high blood alcohol content.

I have dealt with tooth pain and a nasty mouth for years. I have to follow through on this. If you could give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it. This is in the interest of reducing harm to myself. I am often just a lurker on the forums so I apologize if this thread was opened in the wrong area.

Thanks!

Little help, sorry you losing your teeth. All of them, i will too in the end.
Got 17 left, but ime from all dental procedures regular extraction s.
At the moment its anaesthetised so no pain, and the after pain is.

Bearable imo, but the most they ever took out was 3 at a time. Not all.
So that s harder, but in NL you never get pain relief in form of Opiod s.
Or a Benzo against the fear. And i am still here. Everybody in NL. is.

Think only the King gets Opioid s and/ or Benzo s for relief.
the rest just like me. Sit it out and watch out for signs of inflammation.
Anti-biotic s are only advised when there is inflammation [or high chance] over here.
But Jaw surgeon s do try too prescribe them preventive.
Against their own guidelines. ⚠️

While there are lots of natural safe anti-biotic s as preventive at hand.

To be clear I only get the Triazolam during the procedure to help keep me calm while they pull my teeth. I can't mix that with my current alcohol and suboxone habits safely. At least from what I understand. So my question boils down to when I should stop taking the alcohol and suboxone before the procedure, and when I can start taking it again after it. I am not sure what MG they are giving me. But they know I am on suboxone and they know that I have a history of drugs. The dentist said they may have to give me more to have an effect. I just don't want to die of CNS depression at the end of the day. That's NOT the kind of comfort I am looking for during the procedure.
