Indica don't inherently have a higher CBD content or anything. I can think of quite a few CBD strains that are Sativa or Hybrid, like Medihaze or Y.M.C.A. Indica's are known for having higher THC levels, not necessarily CBD. Unless a strain is a CBD strain, there's never going to be much of it, and it has to be, in 1:1 crosses more CBD than THC because the bioavailability is lower. So even if a strain was 0.8% CBD, you're not really absorbing that.
IME in the legal market, I've never seen any pattern with higher CBD in Indica strains, and it's Sativa strains that tend to be CBD strains more prominently. I think people still think Indica automatically = chill, sedating high and therefore more CBD or something. Sativa/Indica themselves mean nothing in terms of what effects you'll get. GG#4 is stated to be an Indica for instance, but it's insanely energizing to me.
