Is there anything I can do, outside of not taking any more stimulants? (I'm not taking stimulants for a good month or two after this.)
Right so,
Getting into a proper sleeping schedule would help. Try to wake up and go to sleep around the same time everyday.
I realise that that may be a difficult thing to do if you have trouble sleeping. If you want to fall asleep, first test out some melatonin. Buy a pack at a pharmacy and take about 9mg 30 minutes before you sleep.
If that doesn't put you to sleep, you could always put it up a notch and get some diphenhydramine (sold as nytol, sleep-aid, benalyn sleep, etc). 25-50 mg (one or two pills) is more than enough. That should put you right the fuck to sleep =)
Now as far as the voices are concerned, a small benzodiazepine diet would help. Bromazepam (yum, yum, my favourite benzo!) would be my recommendation for such a situation. It isn't the easiest substance to find though.
If the voices are SERIOUSLY bothering you and you can't get your hands on any benzo's, visit a doctor to get some seroquel.
Claim some mild psychotic symptoms - but no too much, you don't want to overdo it and you want to appear clueless about drugs. Furthermore, you want to appear like someone who doesn't abuse substances.
I don't know where you are, but you'll probably be prescribed something like chlorpromazine (thorazine). A nice substance, but there are some really negative side-effects (you may get a benzo if you're lucky. but it's unlikely. If you do, you can use that).
Get this prescription at a pharmacy and come back to your physician a week or so later. Tell him you've been getting muscle cramps all over, especially in your legs and abdomen.
They might, at this stage, offer something such as procyclidine to be taken concurrently with the chlorpromazine. That's bad. You don't want that.
You want to imply hat the cramps were unbearable and that you do not want to be taking any more chlorpromazine. It's not unreasonable to mention now, that you have a family member/friend that takes seroquel for similar symptoms without any problem. You should walk out of there with a prescription for seroquel one way or the other.
Now you buy the drug at a pharmacy. Seroquel, also known as quetiapine, is a powerful antipsychotic that will blow your voices right the fuck away. I recommend starting at very low doses and finding the right amount for you. I don't recommend taking it more than once per day (before sleep).
Oh yeah, and don't take any stimulants.
I hope I didn't break any forum rules by writing all that =P
Good luck!
