Still don't understanding phenibuts
Pharmacology and after effects

In short phenibut had the best effect on me for social anxiety and anxiety in general whiteout making me to wasted. No benzo,SSRI,alcohol, antipsychotic, ghb, stimulants or what so ever came close.

I use it weekly but only ones a week.
First doses of 2 g where effective but now over 6 g and a small bit of alcohol and low dose of a stimulant. The after effects(day after)of phenibut however have a better effect on these issue's what I don't understand

What I know of the pharmacology is that it acts on the gaba b receptor likely a agonist.
Does work a bit on dopamine how I don't know.
And properly antagonises PEA.
And has a half life of approximately 5-6 hours.

Baclofen an other gaba b agonist doesn't have these positive effects on me.
Ghb(works on gaba b,ghb receptor,...) has it a little but makes you to wasted.

Most thing for me that work on dopamine makes things worse.
Accept for some amphetamines or cathinones.that temporarily sometimes can have a good effect on this but most times make things worse.

So I don't understand how phenibut is doing this.
I highly/used to expect something to do with its action on the gaba b receptor.

But what is weird and I do not understand.
When phenibut kicks in it has small effects.
But 2or3 times it's half life later.day after.it is so effective.
Most drug don't even have a active time as long as its initial half life

How can this be possible?what happened in the brain?
Anyone some ideas?

Phenibut is excreted mostly unchanged so don't have big amount off metabolite's. And likely these are inactive.

Maybe because it antagonises pea?
Some possible mechanism for sensitivity or rebound effect?

It's bit of a puzzle. I suspect that metabotropic glutamate receptors (interconnected with GABA-B), adrenergic system (required to activate PEA) and endogenous opiates (responsible for the euphoria and bliss) are also at play. In the afterglow there must be a nice dance between PEA-adrenergic stimulation and endorphins which makes one feel great. The fact that you're taking it now with stims and alcohol sounds like you're getting in trouble. At some point the afterglow diminishes and you're only left with awful feeling of stimulation and dysphoria (from dynorphins). The withdrawals from continous use can be quite brutal.

Never fond an article about phenibut having effect on opiate receptors.

Probably the half life is longer in the brain than the rest of the body.phenibut has metalobites .was wrong before but don't think any are active.so it possible that pea is Responsible with some sort of upregulation or somesort of feedback mechanism that comes in when it stops antagonising pea.but I thought pea was inactive in the brain.
If you take it as supplement it is Directly broken down without a moai inhibitor.

I don't expect the after glow to diminish. Been using phenibut at least 5 years tolerance comes to its best effect.but along as using phenibut max ones a week it is acceptable.
Phenibut one its one doesn't do much.but with only 1 to max 3 Beers they synergize and boost other ones effect.the anti aniexty effect is almost as that of ghb without getting wasted as long the amount alcohol is kept low.

Still find the everything that works on gaba b the only true effective for anxiety issues. But ghb is to wasted.and baclofen isn't as effective and misses phenibut effect.

I was testing it last week if it has positive effect with daily use only the low dose that it is prescribed in Russia.
But I'm not convinced.dose is to low and tolerance comes quickly

I know daily use is stupid because the severe withdrawal of gaba b agonists.
So stopping this daily small dose test.
Not word it.appears its only for limited use.
