Spirituality..or experiences with what some call "God"...is sought out and achieved by each person in their own personal way. Still, others have no need or desire to consciously delve into their own "spiritality"...for whatever reason.
Having been raised in a religiously oppressive environment, I struggled to come to terms with what I now consider to have been brain washing. I questioned the beliefs that were ingrained in me since an early child and grew up feeling crazy for not believing the same way as all of the religious zealots surrounding me (I grew up in Texas...need I say more?).
When I began my own "spiritual" journey to seek out certain truths in my life, I began using drugs as a mechanism to open my mind and considered each one of my trips as part of this process towards spiritual enlightenment.
Many different drugs, for me, can lead to a certain amount of spiritual enlightenment IF that is how you personally choose to learn and grow from each experience. I don't think this type of "spiritual" experience is limited to drugs neessarily...as I have used hiking up a mountain, going to the beach, painting, or other various activities as ways to become more enlightened spiritually. I always try to approach any situation in my life as an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to become a better person.
Having said all that: Yes, on various occassions during an intense roll...when i would be "blowing up," I certainly felt very in touch with my inner conscience, which, to me, is my conscious contact with "god.

I haven't used mdma for spiritual purposes, but I have tried it as a means of coming to terms with some things in my life that were bugging me.
Mdma allows you to think about things in a whole new light. It can be a pretty amazing experience.
I totally agree, and have done the same thing on many occassions. This is a perfect example of how what each person deems to be a "spiritual" experience depends on each person's personal interpretation of his or her own spirituality.
