another point is wouldn't an excessively salty post drink snack only exacerbate dehydration and therefore day after migraine?

No, it would contribute to replacement of lost electrolytes. Also, strictly speaking, the headache that accompanies a hangover isn't a "migraine" per se.

Most def. Thats why after heaVy drinking and salty food id have to chug down a few gatorades or lucozades and take ibuprofins or when in irl id take a bunch of nurofen plus and slip them apart. Dont think they make them like that anymore.

chinese green tea (proper loose leaf stuff imported from my inlaws in china) is my 100% foolproof hangover prevention method.
the trick is remembering to have it before bed.

shut up, vegan ;)

migraine/headache, whatevs. :P

as for electrolytes, yeah if that salt is minute and it comes in a great quantity of aitchtoo-oh. neither is true with heavily seasons corn.

im not gonna sit here and say cheesesteaks arent any good outside of philly

but they are pretty damn good inside too, never ate one outside of PA now that I think about it, something in the water I swear

its like hot dogs at a baseball game, or popcorn at the movies, its just science

I'd find myself compelled to pair it with a beverage of some sort.

Salt helps one to retain water, in this particular case it would help to combat the diuretic effects of alcohol. As ebola says, it should be paired with non-alcoholic drinks. Salt isn't all one would want while drinking, alcohol also depletes other substances from the body, particularly potassium, which should be replaced. Potassium depletion contributes to 'holiday heart' and trembling, etc.

And to think we once closed this thread, pretty_diamonds <3 Look at it thrive.
Reason and rational thought are awesome!

It's quite magical. Although, I don't like that corn is losing. >:P

DON'T YOU PEOPLE WANT SOMETHING DIFFERENT?!? We would definitely go through with it if we could secure the location.

No, the people (your prospective customers) have spoken. You are better targeting open markets or festivals with corn than drunks out the front of a bar.

You now need to consider how validly the poll and comments of bluelighters generalize to your population of prospective customers (Hawaiian, right?), and also which types of food already saturate the market; eg, if you were to opt to sell hot dogs, you'd have to differentiate yourself from your competitors.

another datum: this snack was available as street food in Korea, though not decked out with seasoning as you describe. Street cars selling it seemed to do okay, but it was really the vendors of deep fried goodies that prevailed...(and glutinous rice cakes in spicy sauce and fish cakes in broth, but those are kinda Korea specific).

it's also on how you season it:

we have elotes being sold on the streets of LA but I've never seen them sold at night. prepared as shown above would make the perfect drunk food IMO

Okonomiyaki is not pizza. It's just describes as it because that's just "the closest thing".
