Bupe Snorting Suboxone

I just ripped an 8 mg suboxone in half, dissolved it in some water in an old saline nose drop bottle. I've never snorted it before so my question is: how much do I use? I might have put a little but too much water in there because everything I'm reading says to use as little as possible. I didn't use a ton but the water is a very light peach color. So at about 4 mg heavily diluted, how many squeezes and sniffs should I use to get the best desired affect? I'm not new to subs, just new to sniffing them. With my usual sublingual ROA, I usually do about 3 mg at a time. Since I've read there's a higher bioavailability using this ROA, I want to make sure I don't do too much, thanks.

Edit: after re-reading this, my dumb ass just realized there's no way for anyone to tell me how much I should snort since no one knows exactly how much water I used. So I guess a better question would be, for someone who usually takes around 3 mg sublingually, how many mg should I snort to get the best affect?

I've never snorted the strips. I snorted the white pills with the moon on it. Still has that odd orange drip that I don't care for.
My favorite way to snort bupe is the generic white subutex pills. No nasty taste. Goes down smooth. It get's you out of withdrawl and then some. Alot of doctors don't want to prescribe subutex though. They believe the naloxone in suboxone will discourage abuse.
Anyway, as for a good amount to snort. I couldn't tell you. All I can say is start out small to be safe if you're unsure. You can always take more. But once you take too much, you can't untake it.
 
I imagine you are on suboxone to help maintain a drug addiction? If thats the case... remember, its not just about keeping w/d at bay, its also about moving way from behaviors that reinforce the cycle of addiction. Snorting pills, is one of those behaviors. It is only marginally, if at all more effective than sublingually. So why don't you just use those how your doctor instructed?
 
Omg dude it’s subey the stuff is rubbish . You would be better off snorting a Panadol ha . I have shot up 8mg tablets and it does nothing and wouldn’t bother again . Just take it orally
 
China grove just so you know it’s virtually impossible to OD off Bupe . it does not slow the respiratory system like heroin or dilaudid, morphine fentanyl ect . Not trying to encourage ashlea to use more just giving correct info .
 
Yes Jay, that's a big reason why many in the medical community prefer bupe to methadone. Overdose risk or not, i've always found what I said above to be a good rule of thumb to abide by.
 
You will always wanna use about 50% (roughly) of the dose you would have used sublingual.

So 1.5mg intranasal is roughly about the same as 3mg sublingual except the onset is a little faster. Although strangely I still find it can take up to 30-60mins to work intranasally. Where as sublingual it will be about 2hrs or more.

But then there are times where I would feel intranasal almost immediately. Strange drug, that bupe is.

Haha WTF dude. It's nonetheless still an opioid. Even though it's only partial agonist at the mu receptor it still shits all over codeine tramadol, propoxyphene and the likes. If you had zero opioid tolerance and ended up shooting 8mg buprenorphine you would end up violently throwing up the next 48 hours. A lot of addicts consider bupe to be more recreational than hydrocodone. I'm definately one of those.

Haha made you laugh but hey . Maybe so on the Bupe , once you have had other stuff it’s just none existent so I wouldn’t know what it’s like to use it without having used other opiates.

Don't worry. I uderstand yuorside of the story very well too. I'm on Buvidal maintanance (weekly depot 32mg buprenorphine injection). To get me there it was mandatory to have an adequate listing of tried different heavy opioids with long durations of times.

Well done on keeping off the shit . Fuck , really need to do something bout my habit getting to old for it , but have pain issue so it becomes a complex issue to solve really

Man i can't stretch how much i recommend it. It has brought stability to my life, which just didn't exist anymore and i had forgotten it, so couldnt even miss it. The strongest injection (32mg) is so strong it holds me easily throughout the week with almost zero cravings. I'm not in states but you have SUBLOCADE which is similar. I don't need to go to the clinique no more than once a week and i don't need any give.aways since the week's worth of drughs is injected in one single shot. I really close to gettimg employed once again and things look sweet. I actually make money selling Subutex because i have no desire art all to use it so it's all profit. Not very moral i know but they would buy it from someone else and i¨m not craving it at all.
 
That’s great dude , my issue is I use hydromorphone every day , which is prescribed to me as tablets which are slow release and immediate due to chronic and acute pain issues . I abuse the medication, and shoot it up , which feels great but it’s obviously a real issue as I shouldn’t be doing this . Been doing it for years , and oh it fucking terrible when I run out .
I would like to stop iv , but if I take Bupe , I can’t use a other opiod for acute pain which is really fucking bad as the Bupe just blocks it . Same as the chronic pain , tried Bupe but just didn’t seem to kill the pain . Any advice would be appreciated
 
Thanks for the replys even though only two of you actually answered the question LOL. I'm not prescribed the suboxone. I'm hooked on pain killers and couldn't get any. I was snorting coke last night and I don't like how uppers make me feel without following them up with an opiate. Was thinking maybe if I snorted the sub behind the coke it would have a similar effect as popping a perk after snorting a few lines of girl. It didn't. Idk what I did wrong but I didn't feel a thing from the sub and it didn't help ease the coke come down as I was hoping. Maybe my receptors or whatever were full because I had already taken more than my usual sub dose for the day? Idk. Not 100% sure how all of that works. I'm doing cocaine again tonight and I tried plugging the sub this time. Anyone know how long that takes to kick in? I feel pretty good right now but I think it's just the coke.

Oh and fyi, me and my sister share this account. So if you look at some of our previous posts the ones mentioning motherhood are her, not me. LOL. I have no kids yet and like to party. She has fortunately been clean since her pregnancy.

THATS MY PROBLEM I GOT ACUTE PAIN ISSUES WITH MY BACK AND CLUSTER HEADACHES! my dr says im on the suboxone maintanance he cannot even prescribe me my old xanax's ffor my anxiety issues..... ive been years on subs since it got me out of H BUT I REALLY WANNA QUIT IT AND GET SOME PROPER MEDS FOR PAIN
 
Sorry mate to hear your suffering . Yeah to be honest U have used bupe , and it honestly did shit for pain . You need a pain specialist , get off the bupe , and hydromorphone works fantastic . Felt like a god when I started . Please don't start shooting them up , I'm about to touch the sky , just having a 28 mg shot of hydromorphone , that's the max I would take and does me all day
 
I find developing a tolerance to be slow with the morphone , been on it for 5 years and have not had a dose increase which is great . It's a blessing , but also a curse as I am sure you are aware . It's a have problem to solve when you need pain relief , but are on the bupe so stuff doesn't work .
Just keep safe no matter what , I keep a nasal spray with me so I could use it if you overdid it as the spray you can use very fast but giving yourself a naltrexone shot in leg will not happen if you od . Your quality of life will improve with proper pain management but it also has its draw backs
