Smoking kief in a methpipe.

Hey all, so I had a random idea today. I'm sure you are all familiar with kief, the trichomes that stick to the lid of your coffee grinder if you use that to chop up your weed.
Would it be possible to put kief in a methpipe and vapourize it do you think? Has anybody done this? I know a bunch of people are goling to say "why not buy a vaporizer?", well I'm not forking out for one of them things for a little experiment and I already own a meth pipe.
I mean it works on the same principle as a vapourizer really, and I know THC is destroyed to a point by direct flame and as there is higher THC% in kief, more is destroyed by the process of smoking so doing this ould be quite economical.
Also to anybody who has tried this, I'm guessing cleaning you meth pipe was a cunt afterwards?
I'm pretty much doing this after I get a few replies unless there is a good reason not to?
Anyway, I look forward to some replies...
 
Well I am not 100% certain but I'd say don't waste your time, don't take my absolute word for it 'cos I have never tried it though. I just highly doubt you would get anything out of it, and the pipe would be a dirty mess
 
^are you serious? a meth pipe would be perfect for smoking kief/hash. If you dont want to dirty your pipe make one from a lightbulb.
 
you can just use a normal pipe with a screen to smoke the keif.

exposure to direct flame via the meth pipe might destroy the keif's THC, though i'm not sure about what temp that happens at.
 
There is no exposure to direct flame with a meth pipe. That's why it's a meth pipe. The flame touches the glass underneath the matter to be vaporized.h
 
it actually works Beautifuly.. though i didnt use loose tricombs.. used some delicious hash
