i dont like to sleep alone
but im too young,
by moral standards,
to be embraced in sleep
by soft skin and cradling arms.
*warm smiles* i love this poem its one of my favorite ones ive ever written i love how it paints a picture in my head. im such a young'n i have to do everything behind closed doors...

we all need a place to go, that place is a place where love is the rule, everybody eats and stays warm. k wants to take us there, steer it to that place.

I think I define being *young*, not in quantitative measures, but more on a scale of maturity. I know people that are 16 but are much more mature than say, a 30 year old. It's about how you deal with the stresses of life. How you cope with certain situations. How you react to the world around you. If you can handle the emotional burdens (maybe burden isn't such a good word to describe such a great thing) of Love at the age of 15, then being *young* by society's definition doesn't apply. I've yet to find a 15 year old (no offense to anyone, I'm not saying there aren't any out there) that can handle something as powerful as love, but I won't be so quick to judge someone's mental/emotional capacity based on their age.
I see a lot of meaning in that poem. A longing, but an inhibition. One not created by yourself, but by the so-called morales of a society that you are a part of. Who are they to place restrictions on your emotions? Get out there and feel what it is like to drift away in the arms of someone you care about, and who cares about you. First hand, I can tell you it is something worth all the drugs, material possessions, whatever, that the tangible world has to offer.
Keep writing...don't hold back.
