sleep / food deprivation compared to psychedelics

if you really enjoy sleep deprivation that much then try staying awake for 4 days without meth, just take caffeine.

i've never stayed awake that long but it's hard to believe that simply staying awake can produce more intense euphoria than meth or ecstasy--unless you normally do extremely crappy meth and e.

also i think it's fairly common to become drowsy when you lack sleep.

as for shared hallucinations that's also not too out of the ordinary. when i took dramamine(like a dumb ass might i add) with one of my roommates we often saw the same kind of hallucinations in certain shadows because their shapes lent themselves to certain mental images, and often when someone mentions that a particular pattern or shape looks like X, others will also be more prone to interpretting that pattern or shape as X.

nonetheless psychosis isn't a very healthy way to get high. meth psychosis is dangerous and extremely bad for your body. it's akin to giving yourself a concussion or suffocating each other to see stars or other stereotypical visuals. might as well be huffing paint thinner imho.

lastly, it's incredibly lame(at least imo) and irresponsible to hype up meth psychosis or any other kind of psychosis as a desirable high. maybe a few naive individuals will think it's cool, but then you're just promoting stupid behavior. and seriously, if the "high" is so great, then why do meth or other drugs at all?

Dude, when I felt that high, I thought that my shit was bunked with heroin, so that ought to tell you something about the high. This was after 6 days, I never felt like that after only 3 or 4.

Also, I just tell it like it is. I don't really get a psychosis, I just hallucinate and I enjoy the trippy visuals. It's fun. When I start developing irritability and extreme mood swings, that's when I stop short and go to sleep.

if you find it pleasurable, it's your life do what you want. but those "hallucinations" are symptoms of meth psychosis. it comes from sleep deprivation and shows that you are putting too much stress on your body and mind. i would highly advise against going on such long binges without sleep. that's how a lot of people fuck themselves over.

also, if you are snorting a lot of meth, i think it's possible for latent uptake of the drug. i snort a lot of suboxone, and as such, i sometimes get surges of euphoria even an entire day after my last dosage when just previously i'd begun experiencing withdrawal. sleep deprivation does not normally produce euphoria, and definitely doesn't even come close to being as pleasurable as meth or ecstasy. i think that's one point that should be made so that people don't naively harm their health by trying to get high from sleep deprivation.

I don't think that the hallucinations are from sleep deprivation alone, I think a lot of it has to do with the methamphetamine drug. Otherwise, why would I hallucinate orbs of smoke, crystal creatures, souls made out of crystal sshards, etc.?

It takes a special kind of person to truly enjoy getting spun. You really have to be intrigued by insanity and its lifestyle, and when you go crazy beyond words, there's just no words to describe it.

What is a "binge" anyway? When I do meth I stay up for at least one night, but generally no more than three days. I don't plan to go past 4-5 days until summer hits and I got more free time.

I'd rather get that high that I got from sleep deprivation that one time than ever roll or tweak again. That shit was fucking bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S! BANANAS!

but u would describe it as a meth/mdma-like body euphoria?

It felt like I was on MDMA, opioids, DXM, and pot all at teh same time. And when that ended for whatever reason it felt like I was tweaking again, probably from the memory cells being triggered somehow from lack of sleep. It went in a full circle like that the entire day until I couldn't stay up any longer

Yes it can: as I said....

I once entered a trance state by letting my mind flow and writing all down during several days without eating/sleeping (or just very very little).
The trance state quickly became incredibly deep & psychedelic.
Unfortunately it finally got uncontrolable (I was so exhausted that I experienced a kind of "bad comedown" with huge fear/paranoia and I ended up at the psychatric hospital for a month). Note that a friend of mine had exactly the same experience from extended sleep deprivation, deep thinking/writing & marijuana smoking over a several weeks period (he didn't had any "bad come down" but he also ended up at the hospital completely deliriant and hallucinating...he was seeing things like huge colorful indian totems in the hospital rooms and such).

Sleep/food deprivation are powerful trance tools, but I highly suggest doing some spiritual practice (for instance deep thinking & writing thoughts down, meditating, or any) while sleep/food deprivated as it will incredibly enchance the trance state and more, it will guide the experience in some mystical directions, and the resulting trip can be intensly psychedelic (even if completely sober).

I never said hallucinations in general can't, I was referring to my hallucinations based on the shit I was seeing.
