Silicosis Fears.. I've looked at a lot of info for this

I have been snorting pills for 7 or 8 years DAILY and just learned that silicosis can kill you (didnt even know what it was or that silica is in my pills). Wonderful... My brother died from extreme meth use up to 2 grams a day for 15 to 20 years not sure. His death was horrifying how he died. I've done some researching and i find too much conflicting info but snorting pills was listed as people dying in medical journals from silicosis and NOT just working around it. I know the answer is "STOP NOW" but I'd like to hear how long all of you who snort any type of pills with silicon dioxide in them have any problems? the scary thing is there's no cure, you live maybe 10 yrs after they find it and you can show no symptoms. Me I've never had any single symptoms but i have a slight cough even as i gently snort my pills PLUS i use saline water to keep it in the nose and not shoot so much dust into my lungs. Cough is very brief (throat not lungs see my final post) and never ever happens after 2 or 3 light coughs after inhale. (no going down my throat either) Now i wanna go get my lungs checked. I value my life so why am i snorting pills? ADDICTION. And Grief. Pre grief and after death grief for my brother. I knew he was gonna die and he died way too young. We are early 40s. Now its just me and i don't wanna go out suffocating to death. Please share your duration of snorting pills, (sounds classy i know but addiction has no shame) how often how many years for you? I'm over here with 7 years not a single day break of snorting them. 3 a day for 2 days then 1 on the 3rd day to reset tolerance, then repeat. Im terrified yet im not because i cant get clear answers. Im going to start putting them under my tongue but the bioavailability is proven much weaker yet my life is more important. Should i be worried though?

I snorted medikinet depot 20 mgs, I can not say exact amount but probably few boxes. I had x-ray for long covid two years ago, ten years after quitting that habit, and there was nothing remarkable found. I have always had very mild asthma, but really not remarkable issues before long covid, which essentially set them on over night.

I've been saying for years don't snort (or inject) pills!

The rush might be better, but the high won't last as long. Also, it's just an unpleasant chore.

Pills should be swallowed or chewed up & swallowed. End of story.

I eventually quit snorting pills after doing so off and on for 20 years. Starting to have sharp stabbing lung pain after snorting.

Rectal use is usually just as good if not better anyways. Please stop now. Organ damage from drug use is a living hell that I live with and wish for death everyday because of.

I snorted focalin/ritalin daily for 5 years. Hard to say what damage it has done as the damage can slow progressing. An upper CT scan can reveal any obvious issues. You can actually order CT scans online, then take the order into a local imaging center. Will cost a few hundred dollars though, at least.

Best to stop though. Or extract the desired substance and snort it in its pure form, free of binders.
