Sigh .. Quitting, Act II

Hey brother, it us all good, we all get angry to one degree or another at some time. Glad you could worl through it in a healthy, constructive manner :)

I was vaping for 8 months when my doctor told me that it's actually healthier to smoke real cigarettes... He said the long term effects of vaping does more damage and many people have been developing "popcorn lung". So now I started smoking real cigarettes which is kinda sad because I thought I was doing the right thing.

Hi wow9mg, you may want to get a2nd opinion on that. I work out hard all the time and found no diff from vaping. So many people swear by it. Although it's deffinitly very unpleadant when stopped CT.

but i have a plan now for my cravings, i do the lucid dreaming exercises one has to do while awake. Sure makes me look weird as he'll rubbing my hands together saying 'im awake' all the time but what do i care. My family is used to stuff like this and work people will just have to suck it up and not comment.

If only my arm wouldn't hurt .. And today is the last dregs of kratom. This will be Fun.

But if I really vape again, I'd be doing it far less. Even if I relapse now I'll have learned something.

I didn't. Every time I use opiates I go back to using constantly. I can't control it. Part of addiction is admitting we don't have control over our problem drugs.

Not trying to lecture though, and that's not to say that your experience won't be different than mine <3, just wanted to share my insight on addiction.

Thanks Captain.H:) Hope you never, ever abuse the 'poids again. In fact, I know you won't!! You know it too, those things are evil. Why lose what you have?

Ok, pep talk out the way, let me just say it's helping me immensely to know I'll probably go back to vaping someday. Really confuses the hell out of the cravings. Because if I tell myself I'll do something, I know it'lll happen, and my brain has come to trust me .. Sucker!! So yeah, once life allows and I *could* go back to vaping, I may, or I may not. I'm sneaky with the 'Doublethink' and it's keeping stress down. For now, staying vape free for one, at most 2 months is the goal.

The cravings for nic are way different than for opium, which I always took oral as I'd heard that is less addictive that way. With that stuff I'm just done, I don't think of it. But vaping was my way to relax, especially when doing demanding stuff on the computer. It's so boring w/o it, which is where the lucid dreaming stuff really helps. Now if I could just get one of those dreams again, I miss them more than anything. That one time a week ago really whet my appetite, they are so much fun!! Better than many, many a drug. Here's the guide I follow, it was just the first that came up on google: http://www.wikihow.com/Lucid-Dream My main method was WILD, or wake induced lucid dreaming, which is supposed to be the hardest. Now, I rub my hands together and do the 'im awake' routine whenever there is a craving. Works really well!

5 days no vaping now! my cravings are going away and the tiredness form missing the nicotine stimulus helps against opium PAWS. everything's turning up roses :)
