Sick and need a little chemistry knowledge

I just visited the doctor and i have a viral infection in my throat. He prescribed antibiotics and the standard stuff.
He handed me a coupon for a brand new schedule 3 cough preperation with hydrocodone, chlorpheneramine and Psuedoephedrine
It is called Zutripro. I have paradoxical and somewhat negative effects from the psuedo and i also take adderal which it is contraindicted with!
I was wondering if i could remove the psuedo through a process like adding a non polar solvent..

I am not trying to get a buzz i just want to be able to take my medicine and not be awake for days, please refrain from snarky comments i am sick and do not need it.

I assume you mean 'sick' in the classic sense (not 'sick' from opioid withdrawal). Tell your doctor that you cannot take the medicine prescribed given past intolerance to psuedoephedrine and concerns about interactions with your current prescription medicine, and ask for an alternative.

Do not ask by name, but many abound (for example, a formulation called "Hycodan", etc). Alternatively you could discontinue your ADHD meds in the short-term in order to facilitate the use of the medicine as indicated.

The answer to your question, is that (for these purposes), the separation of psyedoephedrine from said formulation is illogically difficult.

thanks for the reply, and yes i actually mean sick, all i know is that it is viral infection of my throat i actually did what you said and they prescribed me tussionex, much smoother
