Shulgin never made a Dihkal for dissociatives. What has been done about this?

hm. well i`m on my phone at the moment so looking it up would be more effort than it is worth, but i recall seeing before that psychedelics (perhaps they were just talking about lsd) have an effect on glutamate, nmda expression, or something similar that i barely understand. what i was suggesting is that T-21 (and perhaps other psychedelics, but not most) have the opposite effect on glutamate as the majority of psychedelics.

i know 2C-T-21 probably doesn`t directly affect NMDA channels, but i fail to see why that means it cannot be/is not dissociative.

changing the MDMA molecule in any way makes a drug that has extraordinarily different effects. structural similarities can help you make a guess about how a molecule acts, but in no way is it a hard rule.

the first thing you said here was that calling these chemicals dissociative doesn`t sit well with you. that seems awfully close minded to me, and that didn`t sit well with me.

the last bit about all the classes that LSD fits into... it does fit into all of those classes, and it is all of those things. its psychedelic effects are its strongest/most profound effects, so i agree it is primarily a psychedelic at any dose. in my experience 2C-T-21 is many of those same things as LSD, but at very high doses it is (again, in my experience) primarily dissociative. thus i classify it as a psychedelic and a dissociative.
