Shortness of breath months after rolling

Hey guys,

I've been lookin through the forms for an related forum but can't seem to find any.

5 months ago I rolled with some friends, I took one 125 packed pill and another one while I was peaking (1 hour later). After taking the 2nd one I started to hallucinate and then proceed to throw up. When I got home, I was only able to sleep for about 30 mins at a time even though I was really tired. I started getting panic attacks and was pretty emotionally imballenced. I was kinda expecting all this to happen after the night I had but the thing that strikes me is that I have been short of breath lately. Feels like I can't get enought air into my lungs even though I am taking full breath and filling up my lungs. This has been going on for a few days now and I can't help to think it was from that night. I haven't done anything since then. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? It started happening just as I got to work, I work in a remote camp so I'm trying not to have to leave to see a doctor if I don't have to... Any advice or anything would be so helpful!

Thanks guys =D

I'd actually consider the possibility that this is anxiety related, and entirely 'in your head' so to speak. It's quite unlikely this is a persisting health issue caused by your roll 5 months ago, and more likely either the anxiety as I suggested (if you keep thinking you've done something to yourself like this, you could potentially make these kinds of symptoms 'real' if you think about it enough), or hell it could even be a completely unrelated illness you've picked up along the way.

I wouldn't stress too much about it being anything to do with the MDMA, and do consider seeing a health professional about it if it persists and is as bad as I get the impression it is.

I thought it might be anxiety related too but it just comes outta nowhere and always at the crappiest times. I was never an anxious person too until recently. I guess I'll just keep trying to live a healthy lifestyle :)

Thanks for the quick response and reassurance man ?

you should see a doctor just to be safe. there are somatic conditions (unrelated to mdma) with that kind of symptoms (allergic asthma or something - you can breathe in normally, it's breathing out that doesn't work as well) that should be ruled out. still, it's also a very common symptom of anxiety/panic attacks and if i had to guess i'd put my money on that.
still, better safe than sorry. most of us on here live in a time and place where having an expert look at a health issue is a matter of driving a few minutes, so why not use that?

It's a pretty difficult process to leave site where I'm at right now, lots of paper work then an hour and a half drive to see a doctor. I was hoping to be able to finish my shift. What do you mean by air not being able to get out if you don't mind?

i mean that breathing in works nomally, but breathing out takes more effort due to constricted bronchia, so when you relax the apporopriate muscles for breathing you don't automatically exhale as much as normal. also when you try to force the air out of your lungs quickly it would make an unusually loud whistling/whining noise.

i don't know how long your shift is and i'm not a specialist, but as anxiety is a very likely cause i suspect that you could wait a while if the symptoms don't get worse. if you have benzos and taking them makes it better that would point towards anxiety. if the first paragraph in this post seems to fit and if breathing cold air makes it much worse or if you get a fever or something then the doctor might be the better option.
