Revoir River sits in my bones; I've never felt this alone. Skin is hollow as I swim onto your shore. My fin tail curls, coyly, "Pass my test."

Imagine your lips between my hips. This echo chamber of ache ebbs and flows.

Grief dissipates like sea foam. Moon Skull weeps white. Chalk outlines between “life.” What of endless pain to see if it be the same?

You're the first one to kiss my sun. You're the lion; I'm the feline. Home, the Amazon, I’ve nothing on. I’ll teach you to run.

Regard not my banter or my flat tone. Flowing from the only hurt I’ve known. No monster am I? What of those who “studied” me?

Of envy, with white walls, their torture chamber halls. Perhaps the women were the most cruel; perhaps the men inwardly drooled.

I’ve put on my dancing shoes; won’t you fill my bill? We’ll travel down under to a world of disfigured wonder. Elfin face caress, show me tenderness.

Show my fingers your naked hips; kiss away my tear-stained lips.

Chromatic pinwheels “Keep me.” Slow heart, slow start. Weak eyes open, hoping you’ll hold me.
