Hello,

My name is Phil LaCroix and I am part of a production team putting together a documentary on the state of synthetic drugs in America for the media outlet NBCUniversal. The substances we plan to focus on primarily are MDPV, Mephadrone, and the synthetic cannabinoids found in products such as Spice or K2.

At this point, we're looking to speak with American synthetic drug users in the 18-34 age range. Our show will be completely non-judgmental and in that vein we're not looking for any one type of synthetic drug user. We're just as interested in speaking with a highly functioning user as we'd be interested in speaking with a user who's struggling balancing life and addiction. The only distinction is we're seeking to speak to current users, not former users.

Our show will be completed towards the end of August, so we're hoping to find our subjects in the next few weeks. If you're interested in speaking with me please drop me a line. All communication is anonymous unless you decide otherwise.

I can be contacted at [email protected], [email protected], or via the Bluelight private messaging system.

Hope to speak to you soon,

Phil LaCroix

Just for clarification are you looking to speak to users face to face and/or feature them on the show or are people who wish to help out also able to answer questions/offer information about their use via email/PM?

Sounds like it could be an interesting documentary and I look forward to seeing the finished result if all goes well. :)

We are looking to speak to users face to face. But anonymity is acceptable - we're not looking to expose anyone or get anyone into trouble. But were are also seeking information via PM by users who may not be comfortable with an on camera interview. Thanks for the clarification request!

Just an update - the response has been quite lively. We're close to reaching the point where we'll no longer need to be recruiting.
