Since smoking a SHITLOAD on 4/20 I've had alot of problems. First white patches in the back of my throat. I got sick for about a week. I went to the doc and he gave me an antibiotic, of which I could only take 1 pill because it made me so nautious. He said to keep gargling with peroxide and sure enough they went away. Also a white coating came over my tongue so I went on an antifungal and cut carbs and sugars from my diet. Also took some High end probiotics. Now it has too subsided.

so 12 days later I'm excited to get back to the 7g's or so of dank I had left. I took some rips with a friend and I noticed it was a chore to talk. I told him to get his ass home I didn't feel very good. Then my throat started to hurt and at lower tones its always scratchy sounding and feeling.

I waited yet another few days to when my throat felt almost completely normal. I said I would take 1 or 2 rips from the bong and some vape and sure enough my throat started to ache and I sounded like I 90 year old smoker.

what the FUCK is going on. Its really pissing me off. now I'm back off smoking for a few days and I'm still somewhat scratchy. How long does this shit take to quit and has anybody else experienced this?

And I know go to a doc but I'm transferring insurance and I don't have any for a while so I have to figure this out myself.

Was this your own idea, or that of the doctor? Never smart to cut the antibiotics cycle..

Pharyngitis. Stop smoking. Eat if you really wish to get high, make sure to lubricate enough when your mouth get's too dry.

I've already stopped smoking until I thought it was completely better.

Stop Smoking completely? I don't just smoke for fun I have chronic pelvic pain I use it for so I'd really rather not stop smoking. I have a vaporizor but for some odd reason it like....doesn't get me high. I need another post about that....

Well obviously you weren't. ;)

Smoking prolongs the ilness, so yeah, stop smoking if you want it to go away faster. Use orally as suggested.

as far as i know white patches on mucous membranes is a fungal infection or something of that sort, sore throat would go away if you stopped doing whatever irritates it.
brush your teeth.
when you start coughing up blood or get lightheaded from standing up that means possible pnumonia.
smoking is bad in general, your throat is one of those things you weigh in your head b4 smoking.
ive had sore throat for off and on months for the past decade. buckle down buddy.

I'm no doc, but I would continue your cycle of antibiotics until the doc says otherwise. Talk to him about the nausea, this could be a real problem if you don't take care of it fast.

I wouldn't worry about quitting in the long run, this probably is just a isolated case which will get taken care of. For now though, stay off anything harsh for your throat. If you must get high, use edibles for now. Sucks, but a throat infection needs to be taken care of first.

ewww im not smoken after you anytime soon, if i had to guess id say u have gonerea, or u smoke too much witch do u think? hmmmmm chill out smoking for a wile

Agreed. The cycle of antibiotics that you were put on were given to you for a reason and the length of the cycle is so that the infection does not return. You shouldn't ever stop a cycle of antibiotics because you feel better. If you're suffering from nausea, ask your doctor ways to remedy this. There are tons of ways to take antibiotics without them causing nausea or at least it being as bad.

Are you eating when you take your antibiotics?

Also, I don't know if you just put water in your bong, but have you also tried adding ice to it? Either way, you need to get your infection under control first and foremost, or you may eventually end up more sick than you were to begin with.

Do your sinuses stuff up when you smoke? Some people have allergic reactions to smoking (which can include sore throat, scratchy throat, stuffy nose, etc.) but generally (I don't find) to be serious. If it is not this, it may be a medical condition and you may wish to slow down on smoking for a lil bit.

If you're having white lacerations around your throat, ask your doctor if it is possible that you have a yeast infection (had one of these and it was a royal C. U. N.ext T.uesday
