We've all had to deal with em - hell...some of us are them.

Scavenger - the dude who never smokes their own weed but invites themself over when you're smoking your own weed

What are your thoughts on scavengers?
How do you deal with them?
Are you a scavenger?

I've dealt with my share of scavengers, mainly fools that expect me to smoke em out that try to hand me a cigarette but and expect me to mix it with the weed. Once I tell em I'm only gonna smoke straight weed they tend to be on ther way. I hate the ones who themselves your friend, then call ya up at 3 in the morning expectin you to smoke em out cuz they just did an eight ball of coke
 
1). get yourself a two by four
2). paint it green and call it "the blunt stick"
3). use it to scare away scavengers
 
man i used to smoke scavengers out all the timmme. the only time it actually irritated me was when theyd complain about the weed. I have no problem with sharing my herb but dnt u dare bitch about bud when ur getting smoked down for free.
 
^^ exactly. being a pot head, i dont like scavengers at all.. the only time i dont mind is when i offer someone to smoke my weed. i consider them lucky for inviting them to smoke with me seeing i only have dank, and everyone around me smokes shwag. i hate, i mean hate when someone is like "yo i got a rillo but no weed so come over and we can smoke".. common i dont give a shit what you have cause i have it too and i dont need yours.. then they complain that you wont smoke them out and i want to punch them in the face..

i was talking to this chick the other day, here's how it went:

Her:"hey, you want to hang out later"

Me:"Sure, when?"

"I don't care, whenever. hey, do you have any bud?"

Me: "No, im out" (not really, i know she's a scavenger)

"oh, well...ok, i have something else to do so i can't hang out tonight anyways"

wow, that was lame. oh well, at least i still smoke myself up.
 
when i first started heavily smoking i wasnt aware of scavengers, generally speaking. i would smoke people out and think theyd return the favor later....only later did i learn to go in a different room with my friends when i pull the sack out....a couple of ounces too late.
 
I'm telling you guys, just wield a blunt stick in front of those whores

it works for people who take too many hits in rotation too
 
I've been known to scavange when my connections run dry.

However when I have weed, I am pretty liberal when it comes to smoking out friends. Luckily, only 1-2 peeps I know smoke pot though.. I can see how constant abuse of your stash would get annoying.
 
weed is more fun when you share it imo

still there are some people that should get kicked in the balls

I don't mind sharing my weed but only if they don't invite themselves to it and would smoke me up too, doesn't matter when and if they do it though
 
Heh. I was brought up from a few guys who i still hang out with fairly regularly, using it in a very communal sense. Sure, you don't go picking through his shit, or taking it without asking, but it's always been an atmosphere of 'if you're going to bring it out in front of em, share it with em'. Sometimes i've been known to beg like a dog when they decide enough is enough, but i try to respect their decisions :P
That being said, though i personally don't smoke up as often as them, when i do get a good lot of something (substitutes are also good repayment) i'm more than happy to have the guys dip their hands into the kitty. Being the guy with the job also has its benefits.

On a lighter note:
reckon one of you can flick me a tenner?

You guys are crazy. "Scavengers"?

When you have weed, smoke it. Let the vapors flow freely amongst your stoner brethren. Don't worry about how much it costs or that you're not going to have any for yourself after you get done smoking people out. Just be kind with your kind and the world will be a better place.
 
Well heres how it goes for me, my friends expect me to smoke with them and I expect them to smoke with me. its just how it works. sharing is caring bros :):) Nobody has ever been like "no you cant be in the circle" and ive never been like that to anybody else. If anything I just get annoyed by people to buy weed ahah

I feel the same way 90% of the time, but I've known a few people in particular who were clearly taking advantage of others' good nature. Literally scheming on who to call to hang out based on the likelihood of free weed (when they have a bag themselves, but don't want to share).

Generally, you don't really have to be an asshole about it. Just ask them to contribute a couple times and they'll get the idea that people are noticing.

just because someone smokes doesnt mean they have the right to automatically since you have weed...besides scavengers refers to the people that always suck on your smoke and never return the favor. even when they have their own shit, ime, they don't share. so fuck known scavengers.
 
I usually deal with it by asking someone if they can throw down..if the answer continues to be no, I will probably just not call you whenever im smoking.
 
The ones I really can't stand are those that show up at your place uninvited and unnanounced, like right at the time of night/day when ur in bed with ur girl. This fool was ringing the doorbell like mad and I just showed up at the door with no pants and kicked him in the crotch. You interrupt sex your gonna get kicked in the crotch by a naked man lol. I hate the ppl that don;t have a cell cuz they sold it for drugs and just expect to show up when the feel like it. Now thats a scavenger
