I was wondering if anyone had first hand experience using "Salvia Divinorum"

I have read quite a bit on the plant through Erowid ect. and was curios to know if any1 has tried it, it was offered to me last week by a some1 i know but I didnt want to try it until I new a bit about it..
Interested in your experiences using this.
I cant wait to give it a go this weekend.

but this stuff sounds another level...my old man once tried DMT which is meant to be one of the strongest hllgenics and (from the sounds of it) totally lost it, so all i can say is be careful where and who with. let us know how you go.
 
Make sure you read some more posts on the subject ,because i tried to get stoned of it a few times and couldnt!

I recomend packing the bigest tightest cone you can exhale and burn it down as quick as you can (MAJOR HEAT NEEDED} then repeat ASAP till your burning your hands on the cone cause it should be almost melting.
Around now you will have big trouble packing your cones.This would be a great time to stop and go for a walk in nature with good freinds
 
I wouldn't recommend this stuff if you're looking for a new drug to just have fun with. If you smoke it properly (I use a blue flame lighter with a bong filled with ice water) it can be pretty damn intense - not a party drug at all especially considering that you need to be in a place without any distractions to get the full effects.
 
Well, I obtained some of the 5 x Salvia Extract (Diviners Sage)
First Experience:
I had 1 small bong, prickly heat sensation in whole body. the room started spinning i morphed with a couch a rather strange pleaserable sensation, I cant remember much more of the trip eceppt the last minutes were I couldnt remember that I had had anything and didnt know what was going on,frightend, paranoid then it was over.
Second Experience
I had 1 Big Bong prickly heat sensation in whole body. then lent back in the chair, I left my body, traveled to different worlds, times, dimensions and realities, I went back to parts of my child hood, and saw many differnt things beings entities it was really bizzare, then as I came back out of it I freaked a little bit because again I didnt know what was going on and I saw all these doorways in different times that I could go to and didnt know which was the right one, then I saw my mate who was present. I started flying through solid glass (Thats the only way I could describe it, wasnt painfull) towards the through the doorway and came out.
Whilst under the influence my mate said I had my eyes open but it was like looking at a zombie. Trip lasts for 5-10 mins with full effects wearing off within 20 mins
A WORD OF WARNING THIS SUBSTANCES IS SAID TO MAKE DMT LOOK LIKE A WATER PISTOL AT A DOSE 10 TIMES LESS
The potential of this is amazing but only in the right environment with the right experienced people, I would also read The Tibetan Book of the Dead befor attempting to use this substance.

The diviners sage is unlike anything you have ever tried before. Its one of the drugs under the catagory of 'shamanistic drugs'. If you ever wondered how ancient civilizations comprehended knowledge that science is barely about to understand, its due to plant-drugs like these. l havent tried it, but l have read about it as l am going to get some soon.
This drug is legal. Because you dont pull it off the black market, its not packet with a load of damaging chemicals. Salvia does no physical damage, but it can cause mental damage as it is powerful. But this should not happen if you know what your doing and your careful.

This trip it self is fast, but when you take salvia, time is beyond comprehention.
If its your first time then have a sitter presnt, u may lose touch with reality and walk around.
There are 6 levels to the trip. The lowest level puts you in a relaxed state and increases sexual tension. The 6th level will have you twitching on the ground, and you wont remember a thing.
What your aiming for is the 5th level of the trip, which is called the 'Immaterial existance'. This one will get you into another reality and beyond. The things experienced on this are beyond imagination.
You can also meet Mr.Salvia whilst on this drug. Usually in the 5th level. He is the spirit associated with this drug and will answer any question you have, no matter what the topic. But, l cant speak from experience as l havent tried it yet.
Salvia is either a hit or miss affair. It will either work, or it wont. But dont pack as much as possible if its ur first time cause you dont wanna go too far and hit the 6th level. For more info check out that site. There is a guide there that should be read by EVERYONE who is thinking about taking Salvia. And remember, theres nothing to fear but fear itself.

A couple of points k2436. Firstly, the spirit usually associated with Salvia is female. As for him or her answering any question you have - you need to read a few more trip reports about this shit. I've done this stuff and I know a lot of people who've done this stuff and the trip reports are as varied as the people. Some people see many spirits - some see none.
Secondly, as for packing too much salvia and hitting the so-called 6th level you need to do a little more research. Plain salvia leaf alone is not nearly strong enough to catapult you this far into salvia land. Even a cone or two of the 5x extract hasn't done this to me. Daniel Siebert (the guy who maintains the site you posted a link to) had to take ridiculous amounts of Salvia to hit the sixth level. The biggest problem most people have with salvia is in fact getting no effect at all because they don't smoke it right.
 
Salvia D is trippy shite! Have a bag at home of both the Salvia and the 5x just sitting about waiting to be consumed...Had it a few times with two friends and it really is trippy stuff! The whole world bends...
Smoking it properly does make a diff. Had three consecutive bongs using a lighter with a very hot flame (the types that produce a jet of blue flame and have a heat coil). The Salvia was burnt quickly and the bongs were drawn very hard. Woah!! Any ppl contemplating using this stuff SIT DOWN when you do!

to the people who have had salvia: would you recommend it? Is it good? I dont mean enjoyable, but did you get a lot out of it. I am not a big fan of acid as it makes me quite paranoid, so would this have a similar effect? Any comments would be great!!
 
Mr.Horse. Since you have a certain spiritual view of life. I believe that you view fits nicely with psychedelic drugs. Have Acid one day with me, and we'll relax somewhere nice, in a place of spiritual significance.
Salvia is the next step above DMT/LSD. I want to get to understand LSD first, then move to something more powerful.
 
psi> True. But some people need a lot of salvia to kick off, others need very little.
l only said not to take too much on the first go cause u dont know how much u need until you try it.
Also, about the spirit, it can come in different forms. l have heard from people who try it that what happens on the trip depends a lot on what you want to happen/think will happen. Some people go for the specific purpose of finding Salvia and asking a question, others simply want to have a good time.
 
Mr H: Having tried salvia a few times I can honestly say it was an experience. Mind you we had no pre-conceived ideas/notions and no expectations. I did read up on it to familiarise myself with it's effects, it's uses, etc.
I've had acid many times (and love the stuff!!) but the salvia is a completely different animal. My friends and I haven't had the chance to delve deeply into the stages of the "trip" (for want of a better word) and how using salvia as a vehicle to chat to the spirit/understand one's inner/etc. Looks like we'll have to set a time aside to do so.
Reading a post above, if you are the spritual kind it may be advantageous/worthy. I don't know fully but as always JUST SAY KNOW.
 
Thanks guys. I think this is a bit of a hippy thread, but i'm up with that. Lep, I am on for that. Sometime soon I think, and somewhere where I feel really comfortable and can just relax and chat and 'experience'. As for salvia, I am intrigued about it. Perhaps not now, but in a couple of years. Or a couple of months

Its so easy to be 'abused' by drugs because you are not emotionally ready. I think people need to respect drugs, especially powerful ones like acid and DMT. If anyone has read the kool-aid acid test, you will realise that DMT is serious stuff. When Sandy completely looses it and starts panicking and believes the Pranksters are all against him, whereas they all love him and want to make him feel as comfortable as they possibly can.

Ok, l would just like to add something. As u all know, l havent tried it but l have discussed the matter with several 'shamans' who use various plants such as salivia for the sole reason of mind expansion and spiritual exploration.
They said to diet for at least 3 days prior to taking it. Eat stuff like bread, friut, vegies, ect. Stay away from saturated fats. This is done in order to cleanse your body from toxins prior to the experience. Well, apparently the drug triggers off an experience which is a combination of out of body experience + astral projection. Only this time you are guided by the spirit Salvia, whether your aware of it or not. The main thing is that the drug simply triggers the experience, its your own mind/spiritual body which goes forth into the spiritual plane. They said the drug is good to over come the fears that might otherwise prevent you from oobe/astral. Its easier for you to accept whats happening as you can justify it on the drug. Once you have come to accept it possible, its easier to trigger it urself via meditation. Well, of coarse l am talking about a full blown salvia trip here. But damn, that dont sound like no acid to me!!

I'm not having LSD until I'm more emotionally mature, I'm sure I'd enjoy it but I'm way to young to be taking something as potent as LSD, or DMT, and from the sounds of it salvia

Salvia, deffinately most powerful drug I've ever had and that goes for chemicals as well.. saying somthing realling and this shit comes from the earth... I will use Salvia again, in the right environment with the right spiritual guidance on the trip.
