Hi Bluelight, I'm Daniel. Long, long, long time part time lurker, I once posted in a thread someone started about "Tell your experience with a prostitute" or something to that effect. My experience was losing my virginity, and it was nowhere near that simple... One other thing I remember posting in a "Rants" thread, probably in TDS, was basically just an explosion of self-loathing. I think folks interpreted it as blooming self-awareness. Maybe it was both. I don't know, this was years ago. Kandy K was around. I remember a picture she posted, grey carpet and picks and spoons and vibrators and gods-know-what... In hindsight, I was just a kid. That picture bewildered and intimidated me. A lot of things do. I dunno, folks, I've signed up to go float around TDS and maybe distract myself long enough for the whiskey and Seroquel to keep me alive tonight, and frankly I'm struggling to focus my thoughts anywhere else right now.

Rambling in the first paragraph, sweet Jesus, rambling in the first paragraph...

Um. Edgy, amirite?

But I guess something or whatever and I want to say two things.

1) Thanks to all of you, to each of you, for being and becoming parts of this community.
2) I forget. See 1).

Hi Daniel! Welcome (back) to Bluelight or at least as an official member now.

"Tell me your experience with a prostitute" was probably a thread in SLR-sex,love & relationships. Which is still filled with some great stuff so def reunite with them.

"The-Vent-Rant-Thread-Vs-You-Silly-KnuckleHeads-Can-Go-Fly-a-Kite!!" is another great thread and just just one of many reasons to stop by TDS for a spell.

So I hope to be seeing plenty of you round these parts Daniel, plus the other 40+ BL-forums you owe it to yourself to check out.

Thanks folks. It's tomorrow and I am, as Terry Pratchett used to put it, still not dead. I discovered Depeche Mode last night, wondering where they've been all my life.

Here's to more of the same. Looking forward to finally being a part of this here community.
