Russo-Ukrainian War v. World War 3?

There are independent polls. The same polls that used to put Zelensky's approval rating at 30%. If he had the power, and the desire to change poll numbers, you'd think he would have changed that one. And man for a country so split on whether to join Russia, they sure are fighting back pretty hard. There's no way operations like the Kharkiv counteroffensive would have been possible if public opinion was 60/40 as you suggest. You can't keep secrets with division like that. You can't hold territory with division like that, its just not true. It doesn't make any sense. Society WAS pretty divided in 2013, but after the Russian invasion in 2014, public opinion swung to the west. After feb 2022 it swung even further to the west. Nothing that has happened makes sense if you tell me thats not true.
People with Russian sympathies, become a lot less sympathetic when they have their house blown up or their child killed. Nothing unites a country like a foreign invasion, nothing. Infact, Putin himself has given Ukraine a national identity that it never had before.

I have a friend from Ukraine, he said that all of his relatives, even the adult men, left more than a year ago for other nearby countries.
If all abled bodied man left (and I remember the migrations but dont remember many males maybe elders) who are the feet on the ground?
Ukraine seems to have an infinite number of troops where are they coming from?
Methinks there is an underground movement.
Wonder what happens when they (ukraine pilots) fly the f-16s back to europe from US?

Well, I can say earth would be better off without us, as we currently are. I haven't lost hope for humanity yet though. We have overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles before.
No some will make it but this mass extinction just occurs natuarally it seems.
Been going on for long time.
It is time, I am affraid... or not.
Maybe just more babel and reads as such imo but whateva right?

Funny you should mention this. I saw a jeep with a Ukrainian license plate in my supermarket car park today. That's one hell of a road trip - 1600 miles.
The beauty of conscription. Those without the means to leave the country, or the courage to just try and bail anyway regardless of the cost, get trapped and become meat for the grinder.
Depends on who 'we' is. There's still a lot of people on this planet who haven't sold their souls. You could lose the majority of the Northern hemisphere though, and not lose too many innocents.

That’s good, I couldn’t imagine dying for Israel. I’d rather cut off my leg then fight in one of these wars. And this one is a total meat grinder. The establishment had a piece yesterday trying to say that china working to find a peaceful solution was problematic. I hate these people so much it’s unreal.

Are you Jewish? I have Jewish friends who are super religious, and their nieces or cousins actually went to Israel to join in the military there. I have no idea if they emigrated there and became citizens, or not?

I am highly critical of the current Israeli government (not Jews as a whole, I've known many Jewish people and I can't think of any who I dislike whom I have known personally). I find it highly ironic/tragic that modern Israel's government more closely resembles what they escaped from in WW2 than Germany itself does today. Germany is the model of a successful liberal society who has accepted what they did as a culture and atoned for it, and actually pivoted 180 degrees... while Israel has become a country that persecutes an entire people based on their ethnicity/religion. It's wild. Of course, not all Israelis (let alone all Jews, most of whom are not Israeli) agree with their government, not by a longshot.

Israel makes a lot more sense when you remember it was the British who helped established the state with 'legal' means and military force. It was also the British (and French) who gave Israel nuclear technology, which now has its home in Dimona that they claim does not produce weapons material. Israel is basically a proto-USA state, in the sense of what the British establishment wants, which is a high-tech war factory with a population smart enough to run it but too stupid to see what its real purpose is.
That's why Israel sucks, and resembles in many ways what they supposedly escaped. It is us, the British, once again. We're the ones with the pernicious ideology and financial muscle to make all this happen. We're also the ones who helped shape up Israel's enemies that surround it on all sides, which is only ever going to end one way and why Israel continues to deny its nuclear weapons program.
It makes me laugh when people say the Jews run it all, or the Zionists. Many of these people have gone quiet since covid though, owing to Israel leading the world in vaccinating its entire population at speed and advancing the technological enforcement of it through passports. Total guinea pigs. Clearly shows a captured nation, not one in control.

Ok it is not surprising how easy it is for Jews or people who claim to be Jewish to emigrate to Israel and become citizens there. Of course they steal the land the Arabs and Palestinians have had for Centuries...
