Russo-Ukrainian War v. World War 3?

If the US (or whatever country you are from) was being invaded by Russia and some suspected far right possible neo-nazis wanted to pick up their guns and fight for our country none of you would have anything to say about it

all men are equal in war

Sorry if reality upsets you. Wall Street, and corporate western interests bankrolled the Nazi party, and then the USA absorbed many high ranking Nazi's through the CIA's operation Paperclip after the Nazi Germany was defeated - Nazism was never defeated because it existed before WW2 and it still exists now.

I think people would. The belief that just because people don't agree with you means they don't have pride in their country or would defend it is flawed. You are being conditioned to believe your fellow men are against you and this is the tribalism that has been promoted in your country (and many others) to divide the country into polarizing camps that cannot see things in anything other than black and white. The truth is most people who have contrasting views to you about certain subjects have them because they too, like you, love their country and love things how they are. They don't bad things happening. They don't want to have to deal with the same shit you deal with.

This is what politics does when narratives are weaponized for political gain and ulterior agendas. It turns society in on itself and that serves those who benefit from this happening.

Like you say, men are equal. I say not in war but in life in general. The differences we make are superficial and most of those differences we didn't actually create. They were created for us. Racism, sexism, homophobia, disability discrimination. We didn't simply stumble upon racism nor sexism nor homophobia, or anything else. It was pushed onto society to serve a particular goal at a particular time in history. Its no different today only we now use different labels and the narratives have shifted. Its still the same old script.

You are made to believe you have an enemy in your own neighbour because then when you think that, you can be very easily influenced and manipulated into turning against him. Governments have done this throughout the ages. Its an age old strategy called divide and conquer.

The truth hurts. What people call the "truth" is a fabrication that then becomes false history when its simply regurgitated over and over again. The West were in bed with the Nazi party right from the start. Here in the UK our papers publicly applauded and supported the Nazi party, before the private interests and power circles formed to create the context for a war that is

yea im aware - that history doesn't upset me even in the slightest - its just the way it was and the way it went

nazism now doesn't exist even somewhat close to that level that existed 80 years ago

it's such a poor comparison, that it's a joke

There never was any true "nazism"(sorry for the quotations, it just sounds so dumb) i.e, national socialism, just like there never was any true socialism.

That's because people in power exploit it. Just another totalitarian dictatorship with a proper Feindbild to keep the masses blind.
I don't see much difference from how countries today are governed in comparison to the Third Empire.

They no longer kill like that, but only because dropping someone's PR value is much more effective than murder.

was listening to an NPR report the other day on the radio

the US actually has virtually zero laws or history of enforcement regarding war crimes, crimes against humanity, nazis, etc

many have been tried for it, but they're almost never prosecuted or the charges are dropped down to trivial shit because it can't pass the courts

such as African rebel warlords (who murder and enslave children among other nasty shit), who just go back to Africa and there is a recurring theme of them being elected to government positions after leaving the US

and yeah, all the nazi's we took in after WWII... US turns a blind eye to things in the interest of power or money

everyone always focusses on the Jews, most of my patients speak about how they took all the people who were "red", even in the slightest.
(red means communist, big surprise). if you follow the numbers, (they're usually displayed in every concentration camp), the largest chunk of people that died would be communists.
communists, priests, homosexuals, the disabled or mentally impaired, sick, journalists, anyone against the regime, and also Jews. :shrug:
in short, anyone that wasn't NSDAP.

but yes, in general that is correct. Hating Jews and trying to conquer the world are not tell-tale signs of national socialism.
National socialism is nationalism and socialism combined. That's all it is. No Blitzkrieg. No Luftwaffe. No V2. No concentration camps!

the people didn't vote for him because he offered a concept that was garbage.
The concept of national socialism itself wouldn't even be half bad, but since it was a murderous and insane regime, we will never know
it will forever be associated with leading war and murdering people in the millions

and they were making stealth bombers before we even thought about it

even the army helmets were more advanced

the list can go on and on about how much further they were ahead

to be honest, that's where I saw the similarities to other governments :eek:
the only thing that truly stopped us from killing each other were weapons that could kill us all.

nuclear weapons are the garant of peace, sad as it is. ukraine? did not have nuclear weapons

I mean we're roughly the size of Montana and the 4th strongest economy in the world.

Think we're doing fine.

Also ofc this is all bound to the regime. If you look at post-WW1 Germany, the population had no money for food,
people were killing each other on the streets (reds vs browns), it's really fucking gruesome. We were ahead of fucking nobody.

The regime brought structure. Work. A huge boost in technology, and medicine. 0% unemployed rate. (well mostly due to the fact that it was illegal not to work ofc, and only men were counted) sooo much funding for science.

Advances in medicine are also linked to some terrible experiments.
Those advances have probably saved hundreds of millions since then, but still.

I don't see a shame in it, the regime had to go down no matter what else it could have 'achieved' first.
That's also a reason why i don't condemn Paperclip, they were just scientists, most of them at least.
"Nazi Scientist" always sounds so spectactular, but there was no way to not be NSDAP, especially as a scientist.
You were NSDAP or you would "disappear", that was the whole issue :rolleyes:

well if Franz Ferdinant hadn't been assassinated, and there wouldn't have been a WW1,
then Hitler wouldn't have fought in WW1, first of all, wouldn't have been mocked by the German soldiers as the "Spinnerter Österreicher"(crazy Austrian, he pretended to have a special recommendation from King Ludwig III - if you're interested how an Austrian gets into the German army, that is it :p), wouldn't have been injured, wouldn't have been in the hospital, and probably would have never become interested in German politics, that much is true.

But the NAP(national worker party) regime existed without Hitler. I think there would have been another guy, that now the entire world would know instead of him. There is something much deeper behind this entire regime than Hitler. People always focus on him, but I don't even think he was in power, he was just a good speaker. Look at your government puppets today. Just a good mouth.

however, if that regime would have become like that if WW1 had not happened is questionable.
people were just easier to exploit post-WW1. everyone was hungry and poor, vote for the guy that promises to give everyone work and food.

How many times do i gotta say it. World war 3 is here. I was the first person proclaiming this was going to happen before the russian invasion even started and everybody thought i was wrong.

I knew this shit was gonna happen. Granted i expected world war 3 was gonna come in 2036. But seems like putin got some illness and moving his plans foward.
 
imminent russian invasion on moldova delcared by russian proganda state news. Could be 1-2 weeks away.

Finland and sweden will be invaded by end of june. Who the fuck is gonna put a stop to putin
