Riots Break Out In Berkley Over Gay Libertarian Immigrant Speaker

No one thinks it's 'fashionable'...

So you're all about 'it's the man's child too' and I can understand and even agree with you on that, but what if both parents want the abortion? What if they're so poor that the child would be forced into a life of poverty? What if the mother has HIV?

Do you believe in the criminalization of drugs as well? Do you believe in war, seeing as you don't believe 'anyone' should be allowed to take another 'human's' life? Sometimes when I come into CE&P it's hard to recall that this is a forum based upon illicit substances and their consumption despite prohibition.

It most certainly is the man's child too, but again IMO no one has a real "right" to determine the fate of an unborn baby.

IMO the circumstances should be very extreme to be able to receive an abortion outside of cases of rape/incest/extreme health concerns.

10 years ago I used to be very neutral and even supportive of abortion until I actually found out what was behind it and its a very heinous practice that needs to be re-evaluated, I won't horrify anyone with pictures or videos but after researching the industry the best a decent person can say is that given the proper circumstances it is a necessary evil, IMO it is absolute evil and uncivilized.

I do believe in the criminalization of certain drugs to a degree, some drugs are so harmful that they are a risk to public health.

I've lost too many friends, lost too many years to addiction and seen too much destruction to think legalization of drugs is doable.

I'm pro choice, but I must say Lena Dunham recently spoke and gave the impression that she was embarrassed at the fact that she had never had an abortion. She very much is making it seem fashionable imo

Exactly, she's making it seem like getting your first abortion is like a new virginity to lose.

I didn't know anything about her, I agree that sounds fucked up.

Honestly my girl and I would get an abortion within the week if we ever found out we were pregnant, much to the dismay of my Catholic extended family on both sides; we believe the world is too fucked up to bring a child into, and honestly both of us have a history of depression and on her side schizophrenia. That doesn't mean we relish it. It's stressful on the woman both physically and mentally.

I feel though that pro-life people should be much more open to the concept of adoption, the same people I hear 'every fetus is a life' from tell me that the thought of raising someone elses' child disgusts them... I mean what in the actual fuck. So you want the planet to be overpopulated and often the only reason is 'God' told you so, yet you're un-Christian and opposed to saving the actual life of a child who has no parents?

Im pretty sure both the left and the right can be called fascist at times..don't u think trump will mix corporate interest with state just like Hillary would..he's the definition of corporate greed ..plus he's sketchy as hell..I'm no political expert but the left and right are disappearing and it has turned into us vs them

Now, now. While a "hello" by nature is socializing, a line or two in a post with other relevent content should be ok. I will review all the rules tonight either way and refresh my modding skillz.

This isn't the social thread! I'm on my way to spend the weekend with vibby though, so i probably won't be posting much until Monday :D

he already is. He EOd the pipeline approvals because he owns stock companies that will benefit financially from them, and thus so will he, and that's just the start. He's going to make sure he makes himself a shit ton of money through his actions as president.

As for being us vs them (tribalism), that's been going on ever since faux news started and we've been fighting it ever since.

This has been brought up even on this site. To the point where a mod got reprimanded for closing a pedophiles thread.

It's hard to blame you for getting upset about that kind of deplorable stuff. There are some pretty delusional people here who have some pretty whacko ideas, but I don't think being blinded from the full spectrum of thought will help you in the long run. There should even be a place for people to talk about eugenics and their beliefs in white supremacy so we can see it and condemn it.

seems that droppersneck disagrees with this droppersneck :)

Noticed this thread is a bit off the path but just wanted to say David, Droppers and CG it is encouraging to see and read your thoughts on abortion. Being gay I feel I have no place to speak regarding women's rights, I do think the views you present of the unborn child being a human that we are making a decision for, is a perspective I've rarely heard and it does make a lot of sense. Thanks for that, I never really viewed it as that. I've always dealt with children with the perspective that when they are 30 and remember me will I have given them useful life help, or taught them junk. I never took this perspective to the decision of their life before birth but it has altered my view.

Not trying to derail this riot thread any worse.

Milo has certainly changed a lot in the past 2 years.

Personally I wish he would drop all the overemphasis of his sexuality.

I don't get the whole drag thing or the recently obnoxiously gay thing he's been doing, but it's his life and his right.

There is no better person to sound the alarm on Islam than a gay man, and to sjw's he is the ultimate traitor.

Outside of Ben Shapiro there is no other greater debater on feminism IMO than Milo.

Mgs abortion rant

Re abortion and planned parenthood.

One of the few issues i will entheaustically agree with the democrats on is abortion. Even 3rd term...Im pretty militant in my support of. However, unless your sperm is involved...or you are an abortion doc...i think men need to just stay out of it.

And planned parenthood. Have you guys actually read sangers wordz? Hitler loved her and so does hillary. I have to assume many have no idea who she is because how can any self respecting leftie who claims to care for human rights defend the scum at planned parenthood?

Dont get me wrong, i am glad they provided our household an abortion for $25. We both would have been awful parents.

Back to evil Sanger.

On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
"...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born." Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people
On sterilization & racial purification:
Sanger believed that, for the purpose of racial "purification," couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization.
Birth Control in America, The Career of Margaret Sanger, by David Kennedy, p. 117, quoting a 1923 Sanger speech.

On the right of married couples to bear children:
Couples should be required to submit applications to have a child, she wrote in her "Plan for Peace." Birth Control Review, April 1932

On the purpose of birth control:
The purpose in promoting birth control was "to create a race of thoroughbreds," she wrote in the Birth Control Review, Nov. 1921 (p. 2)

On the rights of the handicapped and mentally ill, and racial minorities:
"More children from the fit, less from the unfit -- that is the chief aim of birth control." Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12

On religious convictions regarding sex outside of marriage:
"This book aims to answer the needs expressed in thousands on thousands of letters to me in the solution of marriage problems... Knowledge of sex truths frankly and plainly presented cannot possibly injure healthy, normal, young minds. Concealment, suppression, futile attempts to veil the unveilable - these work injury, as they seldom succeed and only render those who indulge in them ridiculous. For myself, I have full confidence in the cleanliness, the open-mindedness, the promise of the younger generation." Margaret Sanger, Happiness in Marriage (Bretano's, New York, 1927)

On the extermination of blacks:
"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population," she said, "if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."
Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America, by Linda Gordon

On respecting the rights of the mentally ill:
In her "Plan for Peace," Sanger outlined her strategy for eradication of those she deemed "feebleminded." Among the steps included in her evil scheme were immigration restrictions; compulsory sterilization; segregation to a lifetime of farm work; etc. Birth Control Review, April 1932, p. 107

On adultery:
A woman's physical satisfaction was more important than any marriage vow, Sanger believed. Birth Control in America, p. 11

On marital sex:
"The marriage bed is the most degenerating influence in the social order," Sanger said. (p. 23) [Quite the opposite of God's view on the matter: "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4)

On abortion:
"Criminal' abortions arise from a perverted sex relationship under the stress of economic necessity, and their greatest frequency is among married women." The Woman Rebel - No Gods, No Masters, May 1914, Vol. 1, No. 3.

I have to assume most who defend pp have no idea who she was or what she was about. See, i dont pretend abortion is not murder...it is. But those who say silly things like the aborted baby is not really a life are deluded.
Oh, the worst of the worst is when a leftie supports abortion (killing an innocent life) but abhors the death penalty (killing a guilty life). How does one reconcile that? Just stunning.

HRC praises Sanger. Video below.

Yeah, I wish both sides would just drop abortion. Leave it be. Id be ashamed to say i was a promoter of human rights while praising Margaret Sanger and PP. Its clear to me why when the dems couldnt lynch blacks anymore they went to just aborting them. All of the young lefties being used as tools to promote this is...again, just stunning.

I think milos biggest weapon is the fact that he is gay, Jewish, English, and always talks about his black boyfriends, which kills the progressive narrative that he is all these isms and ists. These colleges have owned politcal thought for decades so it's understandable that they wouldn't want popular libertarian ideals being espoused on their campus. The first amendment is under attack by these people, that consider diversity of thought to be bigoted/hate speech.

Different forums have a different aim. The thread I was referencing was a thread promoting sex with 15 and younger, girls. Attempting to normalize it.

If it were a thread in CEP simply discussing the merits of pedophelia and it's place in society, that would be a different story.
