Resistance 2

I don't know if anyone is familiar with Resistance: Fall of Man for the PS3 but this fall Resistance 2 is coming. It is a franchise I and many others believe to be superior to Halo 3, Gears of War, Call of Duty, and all that noise. Insomniac Games is using the the full power of the PS3 for this game. The trailer gave me a chubby. I fucking love Resistance. If you own a PS3 do yourself a favor and purchase the original before the sequel comes out.

-One campaign with Nathan Hale, takes place in US

-One separate story based campaign supporting 2 players offline, 8 players online

Seriously. I can't wait for this game to come out. I loved the first one.

Same here. I liked the story because it was so different compared to other FPS and there is so much mystery, lore, and history they made up for the game world.

Looks great, though I never played the first one. I was going to pick it up once but I ended up with Uncharted, I don't regret it though.

How would you rate the first Resistance? Is it just a standard FPS? Or does it have unique aspects?

maybe i didnt give the first resistance a chance.
actually i did. i forced myself to play it.

i dont know why people would say its superior to halo3.
not in any way am i one of those kids who think halo 3 is better and always will be to anyother shooter.

but i felt resistance was poorly made.
great weapons, even better story and concept.
but the graphics werent that good (although i know it was launch title)
the physics were off, and the simple way the enemies would jus drop after shooting em and the way the overall enviroment felt was a letdown.

i have high hopes for the second one though. ill def. get it. and i trust the quality will be better. specially the graphics.
