Religion and weed compatible?

Funny, since Jesus was the biggest lawbreaker of the New Testament. I don't know what to make of the above... weird.

But anyway, I'm more interested in the Bhagavad Gita than the Bible, so as I said before, I'm no authority in matters Christian...

If you're christian, you can't break the law.

As well as:

Corinthians 6:9-11 - People who are guilty of intoxication, will not inherit the kingdom of God.

QUOTE]

I think these are very abrupt interpretations of the scripture. It doesn't just talk about intoxication, but sin in general. (adulturers, lust...etc)

I kinda take it as a teaching of not letting things of this world control your life and obstruct the will out God.

This would indeed include drugs, but also any other thing that could be abused.

On another note, the Bible talks about many ways to lead or lives to be pleasing to God. Saying, "Well I don't rape or murder people, I don't do all these things that I see others do, so this one thing is ok." is directly looked down apon by God.

Haha. This discussion is slowly lending itself to another forum

@ l]evil, I edited those pics out, they weren't necessary and one fucked the thread up because it's so big.

Why not employ your own take on religion instead of conforming to religion based on your geographical region and upbringing and taking what other people have to say at face value.

That way you can smoke all the weed you want and still worship god.
